Just putting it out there. As stout as a boulder. For the price, I expected this chair to be comfortable, but it isn't. My actual ass hurts after an hour of sitting on it. I finally gave in and ordered a cushion for it after a few weeks. Please don't be fooled by the price. I recommend ordering an executive office chair if you want to sit comfortably. You'll get a thank-you note from your buttocks. It's a firm foam.
These chairs were purchased because we had recently relocated to a new state and required some "basic" and affordable computer chairs. We thought these would be a good choice after reading the "easy to assemble" reviews. br>However, when we went to assemble them, we discovered that the holes are misaligned/crooked, making it impossible to screw anything in correctly. My S/O has put together/built a lot of stuff, and he said this was the worst and most difficult thing he's ever had to put together. br>Also, the back isn't exactly what we'd call "full back. " br>On the bright side. . . They appear to be at ease. Hopefully, once they're all put together, they'll be comfortable to sit on. Considering how easy it was to put together in most of the other reviews, perhaps we got the two oddballs of the production, butbr>I would strongly advise anyone considering this chair to reconsider and spend the extra money to get one that will fit together better. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> Now that we've assembled the chairs, I can say that they're quite comfortable and roll very smoothly, which is a plus.
I bought this chair in July, and everything was fine until today, when we finally got it put together. I had sat down earlier and was comfortable until I went to adjust my chair. And then there was a big bang. Later, I sat down again and came dangerously close to collapsing on the floor, which happened to be cement. I wasn't happy, but Amazon handled it admirably, and now I'm on the lookout for a new chair.
It took some time for me to figure it out. It takes a lot of arm strength to put this thing together because the armrests are basically holding the back on, so screwing both armrests on at the same time is difficult. I was hoping it would be built in such a way that you could leave the armrests off if you wanted, but unfortunately not. It feels pretty sturdy; I do hear the bolts shift a little bit when I lay back into it, but nothing has broken yet. The faux leather feels nice on the seat, and it is very comfortable. It has a good amount of cushioning. I'd recommend it; the price put me off at first, but it's a good deal. It's been about two months since I got mine.
One of the wheels was rusted, and there was a mark on the left shoulder. One piece of advice is to bolt the arms to the top part first, then to the bottom. With only one person, it was difficult to complete the task according to the instructions.
Simply a chair for the office. Nothing out of the ordinary. My son's game chair broke, so I bought this for him. He didn't like it, so he sat down in an old, broken game chair. br>br>As described, it is simply an office chair. Like most office chairs, it's not the most comfortable. It was very simple to put together. It only took a couple of minutes to put everything together.
It was a pain to put together, and even after using power tools, the seat isn't as firm as it should be. At the end of the day, it's functional. It isn't overly claustrophobic. Also, it was a tad smaller than I had anticipated. Perhaps for a tween or adolescent. Definitely not suitable for a large adult.
Not very comfortable, the back of the chair is at an odd angle that pushes you forward, and the chair is very small, probably intended for a child. It's fine for me because I'm small, but it's no where near as comfortable as my old broken chair, which is a shame. I bought a pillow for the seat, but because of the angle it creates, you can't use one behind your back.
