If you're looking for solid wood boards, look for B07QK7R85P or B07QK2YZKD.
I used two of them - Boards are 2"x6" in size, but come in a variety of lengths. I have two mounts and three shelves with 5' long boards for the computer room. Three mounts and three shelves with 12' long boards can be found in my great room. The difference in size between them - 2x6 boards are ideal for the distance from the wall and are extremely durable. My college books are stored on my shelves. I have about 20 books on each shelf of the 3inch kind. The shelves can also be placed on the floor. It's also great to have a reverse shelf. The best deal is to buy the largest package of shelves and mounts and piece together what you want; 3 mounts and 5 shelves was the best I've seen, and you'll have extra for fun single shelves.
The dimensions can be adjusted to suit your needs. I didn't use one set of shelves because I needed to fit taller objects (liquor bottles) on one of them.
Yes, I buy them for each and every room in my house. The longer rod was removed from my bathroom, and the shorter bar was removed from my living room because it fit better with my desk!

It looks fantastic! I priced the individual pieces after realizing I could get piping from HomeDepot. With HD, the price is nearly doubled! Although this material is lighter in weight, it is more than capable of supporting shelving. That, and you don't have to degrease, clean, or paint these because they're already done (they have a brush-like, matte black finish). br>br>I had two sets installed: 1) A large system that takes up a 10-foot-by-seven-foot wall; 2) A six-person group 48" x 48" x 48" x 48" x 48" I used 2x10" HD boards that had been sanded and stained - They appear to be fantastic! Both are ceiling mounts for a clean, open look on the floor. br>br>Installation is a little difficult because the pipes must be connected as you go; and the combination of threading, leveling, and tightening things up can be a pain to work with at times. br>br>My first installation was an educational experience for me. My second one went a lot faster, smoother, and level and straighter than the first. Here's my recommendation (for the ceiling mount that came with the product): br>1) Decide on your shelving layout (spacing, shelf count, etc. ) br>2) Measure and mark 11. The distance between the wall and the center of a flange should be at least 75 inches. This is made simple by the flange's center hole. Repeat this process for each vertical pipe you intend to install. In the attic, I installed support braces, but I believe you can get away with just two screws hitting a joist (which is a must) and two anchors. br>3) Screw in your first set of vertical pipes, as well as your T joint, all the way to the bottom. Keep in mind that because the threads make it a guessing game, you might have to settle for slightly loose. Keep in mind that if you're about a quarter turn short, you can force it a quarter turn. br>4) Check the level after installing the first set of horizontal pipes and adjust (screw in/out as needed). I began by screwing the wall plate in place, then gently pulling the vertical bar away from the wall while twisting the flange flat against the wall. br>5) Make sure the ceiling/wall flange and an adjacent wall are at the same height. For the remaining flanges, use this as a starting point. Everything will install nice and level/even (minus the variance of manufacturing tolerances) if you use the blue tape's already leveled edge. 6) Make use of blue-tinted text. From the edge of the wall flange, use tape to make a vertically level line. For subsequent levels, use the tape as a starting point.
- Place each wall flange in a temporary position, mark the anchor holes, and then twist out of the way.
- Screw in the anchors and twist the flange back in place. br>7) Check the levelness of each segment as you install it and make any necessary adjustments (i. e. Screw the pipe in or out, but make sure there are enough threads to keep it stable. Don't forget to double-check the horizontal and vertical alignment. br>8) Don't be concerned about the few, unavoidable loose sections; the planks' weight will keep everything from rattling or moving. br>br>* Keep in mind that pipes and threading styles/methods aren't intended for extremely high pressures. You'll have to make some compromises when adjusting because of the precision - Knowing that once everything is put in place, only a few people will be able to tell anything unless they are told.

I spent $88 on a two-piece set. It's well-packaged and divided into manageable chunks. I'm a 60-year-old woman who, despite taking on numerous projects, is not a skilled home renovator. I was a little intimidated when I opened the box, but I returned to the Amazon listing for this product and read the reviews and looked at the ad photos again. There are no instructions in the box, but it's as simple as screwing the threaded pipes together once you get started. Getting my measurements correct was the most difficult part for me. I took measurements of the wall. I divided it in half and measured equally from the left and right of the half-way mark to determine where I would place it. You get to choose how far apart or close the pipe ends should be for your space. Then it's just a matter of screwing the pipe face plates to the ceiling and wall, as well as connecting the pipes. To make screwing into the wall and ceiling easier, I screwed the pipes in small increments. To make things easier, get a pencil and make a mark on your wall. br>br>I measured pipe to pipe and added a little overhang, which meant I'd need a plank that was 5 feet long and 8 inches wide. I had the option of going with a ten-inch width. I purchased pine wood plank from Home Depot. It cost me less than $20 to have it custom cut for me. For the wood, you'll have to pay a total of $0. 00. When I got home, I quickly stained it. It took me about an hour and a half, including the trip to Home Depot. Because I didn't want to overcrowd my space, I only used two shelves. It's a great fixer upper with a modern look for a low price. Without any help, I completed this task on my own.
Great product! The pipes have a nice rustic feel to them, which is exactly what I was looking for, and they're also fairly simple to put together. For mounting the piping, there were plenty of screws and anchors. Overall, I would buy this product again if I were to do another project.
