There is an average height of 13 between each shelf. It holds an 8 inch diameter.
Shelves are just wide enough to accommodate a few items each. In one of the articles I read, the weight was 30 pounds per self.

What a perfect shelf! I was looking for something just like this. It would have been better if I could have given I was surprised and pleased that it arrived earlier than expected and was I was not expecting the shelves to look as beautiful as they do. It is actually possible to The wood shelves do not have a single nick. In all holes, the pins lined up perfectly. The “X” holes on the back of the frame were very helpful for me to maintain while purchasing this shelf and reading numerous reviews before I purchased it. If the lower back legs are facing the wrong way, you will have to redo the assembly. I can see how it would be easy to miss. Our daughter and I assemble it in about 30 minutes and it is very easy to assemble
I love the seamless frame that connects seamlessly (unlike other ladder shelves which have screws showing between This is a very sturdy product. Even though the shelf is sturdy, I wouldn't place irreplaceable items I love the simplicity, and that it helps me with extra space for my plant addiction. It fits in exactly the spot that I wanted it to and I love that it's helping me. The accessories will come in handy when styling it. What's even better is that it was within my budget. I highly recommend it and love it so much. It's also the same one that my friend got! It will be a pleasure to own this for years to come! I am so delighted with this purchase from Amazon. No complaints about the design Despite the fact that it is not solid wood, it looks really nice and realistic. Sadly, assembling it turned out to be a pain. Originally, we were planning to have it match our new desk, which is We have had no problems assembling the desk so far, and it has been great so far. The experience was totally different from what I expected. The first thing we noticed when opening the box is that we all had the parts to assemble it, but were unable to find the hardware. Getting hardware sent from Songmics was straightforward and the customer service agents were excellent in communicating with me. However, the hardware was missing pieces when it arrived in the mail. But it did not matter, since the screws they did send did not fit into the holes drilled in the bookshelf. The thing that they provided would not have been sturdy at all even if they had included everything we needed. As well as the instructions, this was difficult to assemble. The desk ended up being returned, and we most likely won't be purchasing any more Songmics furniture in the near future, despite the good experience we had with it.
The reason I didn't do that was because I was getting ansy and wanted to put it together fast, so ours just doesn't have that It's an oops!.
This bookshelf (and coordinating desk) was purchased for my husband in order to create a workspace in our house. The industrial modern decor combined with a rustic aesthetic appeals to him and this piece of furniture seemed to fit the bill. I was surprised by how poorly packaged the bookshelf looked when I received it. In the box, there was no damage to the outside, but the shelving supports that make up the frame of the shelf had been jammed into the Styrofoam packaging (a picture is There was an extreme amount of mess involved with unpacking and assembling the parts. It was also difficult to remove all the Styrofoam as it was firmly jammed inside the metal frames and was too tight to completely remove. Despite the fact that I'm fairly mechanically inclined for a female and it took me about 30 minutes to assemble, it took me about 30 minutes. In this case, lining up the first shelf with the metal frame and starting the screws proved too difficult. As soon as I assembled the first shelf, the rest of assembly was easy. The instructions were clear and I had no difficulty following them. All of the tools and parts were included. Immediately after the first assembly, I tightened all the screws with my power drill. *br/
Overall, I am satisfied with this bookshelf and am looking forward to receiving our desk once it arrives (it is back ordered) in order to finish our new home. A space for working at home. Although I have cleaned up pieces of Styrofoam in my home, I still see and find annoying pieces of the material.
