A coat of paint is not on the metal. The color of the metal is the same as the metal itself.
From bottom shelf (largest) to top shelf (smallest), every shelf has a different depth.
With the top two in position, the structure should be able to hold up over time. However, we have two bottom shelves in place. Since the shelves secure the two main components on both sides, I cannot predict how it will work because there is no opening on any of the shelves.

Great look and shelf, but you should definitely tie it Our kitchen corner by the window is pretty sturdy and fits in nicely with it. Be sure to tether it to a wall though, since it is quite tall. It took me a little longer than expected to assemble one part. On top of the legs on each side, I forgot to cut them at a slant when I started assembling it. The shelves or unit must be level if you cannot make them so. If you have slanted cut on your side legs, make sure it is at the top.
All right, thanks. It's hard for me to decide what to do with The design of this piece of furniture is lovely, but I find a few things concerning, which make me give it a less than favorable rating. There would be no way to screw them in without an electric screwdriver, for one. It is not even close to cutting it with the little tool they provide. The Songmic furniture that I have purchased to date includes that little tool - and it has worked flawlessly. No! This one is not for me! The second reason I bought this piece was that I have other black metal furniture (desk legs, table legs, chair legs) that matches this, but the metal has more of a dark grey color The look of the piece seems a bit odd in comparison to the rest. Last but not least, you need to fasten the shelf to the wall to keep it stable. Due to the fact that I am a tenant, I am unable to do that and did not realize that this shelf would be unstable without bolting it want a shelf that can be bolted to the wall, have an electric screwdriver, don't mind that it is not pitch black and you don't mind it not being pitch black, then this is the shelf.
It was pleasantly surprising to see that the shelves were of excellent quality. I really like how cute it is and how just the right size it is.
They are easy to assemble and go perfectly with the ladder shelves.
The decor is perfect in the corner where I needed it most. They are so cool! I love them!.
That sounds good. When I purchased this, I did not expect to find REAL WOOD! My expectation was a cheap, passable corner shelf until I could find something a bit more substantial. Call me dumb if you want - I was completely amazed when I had this shelf out of the box! The craftsmanship and quality of it are outstanding. A good quality wood shelf piece is on each shelf, and there is no cheap particle board. The metal frame is sturdy and thick. A shelf of this quality for such a low price was a surprise. I'll be sticking with this shelf and maybe even purchasing more from them in the future!.

There were no labels on the pieces of this one so we had to take it apart and reassemble it in order to install the cross hatchings back support. It didn't take long for us to wear out the included tool, and we had to purchase As a result, every shelf except the bottom one sloped badly so that they could not be used. An incorrectly drilled hole was a result of the drilling operation. In contact with the seller, who very kindly sent a replacement out right away. It shouldn't be this hard to put up shelves. I returned the unit and canceled the backorder The one that was supposed to go with it was ordered. Unfortunately, this is a shame because it looks pretty nice, it is quite cheap, and it would have perfectly suited the area we already have.
This shelf system is from Vasagle (VASAGLE Industrial Ladder Shelf, 5" ) some time back in November, but only just got around to putting it together after my dining room remodeling was Unfortunately, I was dismayed when I realized the shelves were not level and that they actually slant quite a bit. Considering how dramatic the slants on the shelves were, I was worried that a full bottle of wine or a full wine glass placed on one of the higher shelves might fall from that height. I thought that I had assembled the part incorrectly, but when I reviewed it, I found that I hadn't. Checking out a couple of other reviews, it seems that many other folks have ended up in the same situation with what can only be described as defective equipment.
