The letters in the instructions corresponded to the letters on the parts, which were all clearly labeled with Letters. All of the minor components are: Screws and bolts were each in their own small bag with numbers clearly written on them. All of the holes in the boards and metal parts were perfectly aligned, so it was a breeze to put together! br>br>I like the 'rustic' vibe the Iron Rods give off. On the back side, the crossbars cross each other, adding to the stability of the bookcase. br>br>I hung it in my kitchen and filled it with cookbooks, coffee accessories, and other trinkets. It's decorated with knickknacks and other embellishments, and it's stunning. I was at a Zoom conference recently, and a few people saw it and wanted me to show them more by moving the camera closer so they could see it better; they, too, were enamored. br>br>I believe that everyone should/would appreciate this lovely, sturdy shelf for use in the kitchen, living room, office, or just about anywhere else!   There are numerous books in our library. To put them on, I needed a strong shelf. When our basement was flooded, we had a wooden bookcase that got wet. That bookcase was destined to be discarded. I wanted something with METAL legs that was a few inches off the floor so that if there was ever any more water, we could mop it up UNDER the bookshelf. As long as it wasn't sitting in water and becoming moldy, it wouldn't have to be thrown away. ruined. I desired the ability to dust. Clean under the bookshelf with a mop or vacuum attachments on a regular basis. br>br>I was keeping an eye on Marketplace. I looked all over the internet for what I was looking for, but couldn't find it. I needed SMOOTH shelves so that our books didn't get indents from the metal bar type shelves that a lot of people were selling. I was about to give up and just ask hubby to put up some track type shelves on the wall when I happened to be browsing Amazon. This bookshelf was discovered. It's difficult to know what to expect until you see it, but it's a pleasant surprise. br>br>The shelves are nice. thick. They're similar to the shelves my husband has strewn about our house. They're similar to the shelves sold with wall brackets at the hardware store, except they're mounted to the bookshelf. They aren't particularly slim. Neither MDF nor flimsy is a good combination. They have a solid feel to them. br>br> Also take a look at it. br>br>EVERY HOLE WAS PERFECTLY LINED UP. br>br>On the underside of ONE shelf, there was a very minor scuff, but it was barely noticeable. Neither the frame pieces nor the other shelves had any scratches. NO dings. With the exception of one TINY scuff, everything is in PERFECT condition. br>br>It took me one episode of Grey's Anatomy to put it together, but I had to stop several times to nurse a baby. I also used a power screwdriver with a screwdriver bit to compensate for the milk breaks of the baby. br>br>It was simple to follow the directions. The section on parts inventory included in the package was extremely useful. Every single piece, bundle, or bag of pieces had a label on it. All of the shelves have reinforced holes for the screws to go into. I began by counting to ensure that all of the screws, shelves, bars, and other components were present. IT WAS THEY. Following that, I put it together. br>br>The back support bars were the only part of the assembly that had me scratching my head for a moment until I realized I needed to unscrew the two side pieces (top and bottom). The sides of the bookshelf were assembled using screwed-together pieces (bottom piece). It was back to being simple once I figured that out. I had someone hold a couple of shelves for me while I screwed them in, but I could have done it on my own if I hadn't been juggling a baby at the time. br>br>I have a lot of books, DVDs, and CDs, as well as a printer. On the shelves, there are binders. There's still room in my house. I would have filled the bottom shelf as well, but the baby has an uncanny ability to get into everything, so I'm not sure what I'll put there or if I'll wait until the baby stops emptying the shelves. The bookshelf is STRONG. br>br> I 100% would anchor it to a wall for additional stability which I did. Actually, I'm terrible at anchoring things to the wall. I tried to mount them by drilling a few additional holes in my wall, but my husband was sleeping. I didn't want to have to wait to fill it after spending so much time putting it together, so I finally got the wall anchors right. br>br>A wall safety bracket is included with the bookcase. wall anchors (I upgraded the wall anchors but used the included brackets), which was a HUGE BONUS because no one wants to go out and buy brackets. They'll have to wait until after a trip to the store to fill their new bookcase because of wall anchors. br>br>The bookcase is light enough for me to move from room to room (though not particularly light). is a little awkward because of its height, but that is only due to how STRONG it is), though not flimsy, as I did carry it around trying to figure out where I wanted to use it. After seeing how nice it looks, I decided to use it in our office/school area rather than in our basement. what a good fit it would be next to the computer desk I could also put the printer on the bookcase, which was an added bonus. br>br>The dimensions are slightly more than 12" between shelves, 70" tall, and 31" wide. 5 inches in width The depth is just under 12". br>br>What a lovely bookcase. Any room in my house will look great with it. I'd like one or two more, but I'll have to settle for something a little more modest. Because the quality is so good, I'm going to look at other shelves offered by the same seller. br>br>After comparing prices for new and used shelves, I'm going to look at other shelves offered by the same seller. For the quality of this bookshelf, I used bookshelves from all over the internet. The price is reasonable given that it is brand new and will be delivered free of charge. I might have thought it was a little high if I hadn't checked prices first, but seeing the outrageous prices people are asking for their beat-up, used bookshelves convinced me otherwise. This bookshelf is a good deal when compared to the cost of other new similar units. To make it look nice, you don't need to buy any fabric bins. They should be functional, even if they do look cute on this bookshelf. br>br>I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS SHELFING UNIT. It has made me very happy. It has a very appealing appearance to me. even better, I adore the fact that my books are all neatly organized once more. I'm back to using plastic bins. I'd buy more of these if I could find a suitable location for them. I'll remember this shelf unit for the future.

I've always been disappointed by IKEA's product quality. all-around design particle- board bookcases, which are easy to damage during assembly, especially if you don't have help, and for which the pins that hold up the low-profile shelves are easy to lose. Shelves of high quality Metal has always appealed to me. Although a frame bookcase would be preferable, the ones I've previously purchased have been difficult to assemble and of poor quality. This bookcase, on the other hand, can be put together by one person in under an hour and is extremely sturdy and resistant to damage. br>br>However, there were a couple of minor issues that didn't detract from the overall rating of 5 stars; They are visible to all and can be adapted to by anyone. The only minor flaw was that the holes were not always fully punched, but this was easily remedied by pushing your screwdriver through. Second, the long screws that are supposed to connect the bars at the back of the bookcase to the bookcase's sides do not work. The long screws didn't go all the way in, so I had to use some of the shorter ones. The short screws appear to be adequate for holding the bookcase together. I then had to use one long screw for four of the shelves, which is only a minor cosmetic effect; just make sure you don't drive the long screw all the way into the shelf or it will push through the top.

1. You must construct your own product.
2. I couldn't find the instructions and built the entire product without them, making it one of the most basic furniture pieces I've ever built. There's no need to be concerned because the directions are included. They were not discovered until after I had completed the shelving.
3. The metal frame is what makes this product so good, and the wood for each shelf is heavier than some other cheap shelving I've bought in the past. br>4. You won't find much better for the money; I've built a lot of low-cost furniture in the past, and the metal frame is what makes this shelving so good. In my experience, any cheap furniture that does not have a metal frame does not last very long.

This shelf appeals to me. It was incredibly simple to put together and it turned out beautifully. One screw managed to go through the shelf for some reason? Bummer! I'm not sure how it works, except there's a plastic inset on the shelf that you screw into- As I screwed, the screw moved deeper into the wood. Nonetheless, despite this flaw, I would order this again!.
