Starting at the top, the depth of each shelf is four inches. 75, 7, and 9 25", 11. 375", 13. 375". br>Between-shelf distance: 75" between the top shelf and the top of the unit, 13", 13", 13", and 12". The distance between the bottom two shelves is 875".
I recently purchased four of these to use in my living room as a "library corner." They're sturdy enough that I can fill all five shelves with books. Because the shelves get smaller as you go higher, the weight is evenly distributed. They don't actually 'lean,' but rather 'back up against the wall,' staying upright. There's some swaying, but it's not too bad!

I believe it is made of wood. It's very solid and heavy. It's in my 1-year-old son's room, where it's been covered in books and other items with no problems, and it's actually a browner color than the photo depicts.

This product is something I use on a daily basis. It's the best product on Amazon, Walmart, Target, or any other low-cost big box store for the money. br>br>I've never used the wall attachment, and this item has never tipped over on me. Glassware, books, DVDs, and everything else have all been displayed on it. br>br>If you have a three-bedroom house with a three-bedroom apartment, you have a three-bedroom house with a three-bedroom apartment year- Yes, it will rock back if someone grabs the side of it and shakes it. and so forth, it'll set you back $59. If you're going to use it as extra storage in your living room, keep in mind that the heaviest items should go on the bottom two shelves. It won't rock anymore because of this. I don't usually write reviews, but I'm grateful to have something simple, attractive, and affordable that is also simple to purchase and assemble. br>br>I also feel compelled to mention that every single reviewer who complained about the holes not lining up, etc. , is correct; the first time I tried to put it together, I had a few pieces backwards, pegs didn't fit or appeared to be in the wrong place, and holes were missing. It's simply a case of people not paying attention to the instructions. br>br> As for the color, I've only ever bought it in white, so I can't say for sure, but I'll keep buying it as long as it's available.
This shelf's quality is appalling, in my opinion. The shelves don't match up, the seams don't line up and leave half-inch gaps, and the white paint is almost see-through. I had high hopes for this shelf, but it's a complete waste of time and money. Look somewhere else if you want to save time.
This shelf exceeded my expectations in every way! The quality and color of the wood are stunning! It only took about 15 minutes to put together, and there were no problems! br>br>I had originally purchased one similar for $250 from Pier One, but I didn't realize I'd need two and didn't want to pay $250 for another, so I've been looking for an identical one ever since! br>br>On the right, there's a Pier One shelf, and on the left, there's an Amazon shelf! And they're almost identical in appearance! I am overjoyed!.
Pros: br>The color is exactly as it appears on the website. br>It's tall, with a lot of room on each shelf. It appears to be more durable than the majority of shelving units on the market. br>After assembly, it is lightweight and easy to move around. (It was a different story once my plants were on it. ) br>A good fit for my small apartment because it doesn't take up a lot of floor space. br>The Sleak design is very elegant. When people come over, they compliment me on it. br>Because the bottom shelf is elevated, you can easily clean it with a vacuum or a robot vacuum. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. br>I had to put it together on my own, with the assistance of another person. It was much easier with two people; it would have taken much longer if I had to do it alone. br>On the side, you can see the screws (could you paint them?). Some people may not like the color contrast and vibe it gives off, but I do. br>During assembly, the two halves were not properly prepped to fit together smoothly (see last photo). I couldn't fix the crookedness of the plate that holds the two together. br>br>I can overlook the drawbacks because, in the end, I adore this shelf.
When I first placed my order for this bookcase, I was extremely apprehensive. During my research, I discovered that a lot of people have had problems with damaged packages when purchasing large items. Needless to say, we were nervous when it arrived, expecting the worst, but everything turned out fine, and we were worried for nothing. Despite the extremely low price, the shelf looks EXACTLY as shown and appears to be of high quality. br>br>PROS:

- I wish the wood-colored sticky tabs had been included. I'm not sure if I'm describing it correctly, but the screws on the sides can be seen in the photos. My BF suggested that we get some from Home Depot and cover the screw holes to make it look "cleaner" from an aesthetic standpoint.
This is the white version I got for my master bathroom. It fits perfectly in a corner and was relatively simple to assemble. It appears to be very sturdy, and it comes with attachments that allow you to secure the stand to the wall so it doesn't fall over.
My 23. Planters that are 5 inches in diameter fit perfectly in this space. I was concerned about the shelves' ability to support a significant amount of weight before purchasing them. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat, and I may have already done so!.
Don't let the four stars deter you - This is far more deserving of higher marks. It's simple to put together and matches Ikea's "black brown" (which is the color of our table). One tip- Lifting should be done with caution, and from the bottom of the unit if possible. The top unit does not attach to the bottom unit; instead, it nestles on top of it. This product, in my opinion, is well worth the money and appears to be much more expensive than it actually is.
