There is no room for a baby in that crib. Obviously I couldn't do it for newborns as i have no idea how others are using it for newborns.
This item was very disappointing to me. There is some assembly required, which is fine and not too complicated, but you have to drill holes for the screws. Since there are no instructions, you can save your online photo from your computer and figure out where the tow bars go and how to assemble them. A poorly damaged box containing a Chinese product arrived at the door. Since I would have known the origin of the product, I would have avoided buying it because I would have been aware of its cheap construction.
I don't think that what is pictured is accurate. It had instructions that were not written in English, so you had to figure out how to assemble it. There is a wobble in the chair and it doesn't sit upright. Neither of the two pieces that need to be screwed on to the prop has an appropriate position to screw them The picture on the advertisement does not show a mattress lying down.
Needs more screws for it to be very stable. This was a very confusing process for me. It was very difficult to put together since the pieces are not predrilled and instructions are not provided. Regardless of the three stars, there was just one thing wrong with it it was pretty wobbly. After I fixed that and added more support, it went smoothly.
