I'm not able to tell what kind of wood the top is since I don't know what it is. Aside from the drawers and the sides of the dresser, the dresser is made from wood. I am not a big fan of the bottom of the drawers and the back, since they are made of a thin pressed wood, almost as thick as cardboard. They cannot be seen when it's assembled, though, so in my opinion, it looks fine.

There really isn't anything else good to say about it besides that it looks great. In the beginning, I found it difficult to assemble the drawers because the bottom pieces of wooden strips were so bent that they would not stay in the grooves long enough to line up everything. It's absolutely not something a person can accomplish on his or her own. Finally, the drawers only open to half their full height, which is really frustrating. What lies in the back of the drawer is not visible to me. Never have I had a dresser drawer that didn't open all the way before, and I feel like every time I open it and try to reach into the drawer I'm going to have trouble with I truly regret buying this, but this was the only one we could find together, and we already have it together with a baby due in 6 weeks, so I'm not in the mood to tear it apart I hate it.
My favorite part of the dresser is the mirror! For the price, this piece was of good quality. It turned out to be simple to put together. It was put together by myself during my seventh month of pregnancy. The drawers did not assemble successfully due to the extra line, but lining up all of the drawers took more time and was more difficult than I thought. Overall, I'm very happy with how everything turned out, and I'm absolutely in love with As soon as I changed the knobs, it seemed to work. . . Here's a picture of it I wanted something to match the design of my nursery, and this was perfect.
As soon as we opened the box, the smell from the dresser was harsh My husband assembled the dresser easily, but I was not pleased with the smell There is an unpleasant odor that seems to be coming from I decided it wouldn't be okay to leave it in our daughter's room, so we left it in the garage to air out. Originally, we thought the dresser would air out quickly, so we originally put it in her bedroom. Our daughter's room smelt so badly we kept the drawers open for a month so it could air out faster. After one month, we placed it back in her room and it STILL smelt the same. In the end, we were unable to keep it, and it was returned.
In what way? It will take about one and a half hours to complete. There are 100 tiny pieces, including screws, little wooden dowels, and knobs. A total of 16 screws were placed in the wrong places on the back of the cabinet. This was a very difficult task. Thus, I had to back out of the deal. This is done. Several buyers have commented on how flimsy the drawers are and how they don't fit tightly The window should not be fully opened. We'll see what our guests think of this dresser, which is in a guest bedroom. Furniture that needs to be assembled will never be ordered by me. The best ever. Only White Glove service is available if it is available.
The dresser is absolutely stunning. While I'm good at and enjoy putting things together (call me crazy), I found the instructions to be quite simple to follow. As far as I was concerned, the backing was the only issue. Pre-drilling was only done in about 1/4 of the holes The back will be screwed in place after the holes have been drilled and matched up. Having to drill holes before completing the back wasn't a big deal for me since I used a drill bit of an appropriate size. It's well made, slides smoothly and comes packaged nicely. There are no scratches or missing parts at all. I don't have any complaints. It's a beautiful color, and the hardware is fabulous too. We decided to take it out to the garage for a month before moving it into the bedroom/nursery because it did have the typical new furniture smell, like paint or finish or whatever it is they use. The piece still has a slight odor but it's no longer too noticeable now that it has sat for a while. I really like it!.
in the leg that does not have the metal piece, therefore, it is missing one of the main screws. have the screw, but as I mentioned before, there was no metal in that leg to hold the screw in place. As far as I'm concerned, it looks gorgeous, the drawers slide in and out perfectly, and I'm thrilled In terms of assembly, I would give it a 5 because I figured everything out and finished it on my own. After I took over from my son in law, I had my son in law helping me at first. The process did take me a couple of hours to complete.
I may have gotten a buzz just from putting this together. It was disappointing to witness such a poor product from a company that makes green guard cribs. Putting it out in the garage was too much work so I had to pack it up. I did not have any problems assembling this unit. A company representative was easy to reach, but they are behind on shipping replacement parts so you may have to wait more than two weeks for their It would be better for me to disassemble the machine.
The screws were extremely annoying, but I was able to get similar ones from a hardware store and they worked flawlessly! This was a super easy project--just follow the instructions. Directions are very straight forward, but when taking them out of the box it can get very messy. All the styrofoam must be gone. The dresser is great! I would highly recommend it! The apartment is a lot bigger than I expected and has much more space than my previous apartment. This is exactly what I wanted!.
