I removed the shelf and can now fit 15 2 liter soda bottles on the floor! I was able to shut doors with ease. I wish the door could open to the right or left instead of the middle. Despite the fact that I am older, I manage to get by. Three of our medium thick phone books will fit in the back pocket. My puppy has started using my table as a bridge to get to my recliner. On the table, I used Rubbermaid shelf liners, which are also used in tool boxes. Then, to prevent shifting, a protective pillow cover is placed on top. 1 pillowcase left to be used. This prevents spills and leaks from ruining the table top. The case can be easily removed and washed, and it can be color coordinated to match your furniture or curtains. I still have access to a power outlet for charging my phone. Good luck, I really like mine because it's a good size. It was a little difficult to unbox, but I am 63 and Easy Sliders assisted me in moving it.
Yes, the table is ready to use right out of the box. The shelf that goes inside the table must be mounted; it comes with the necessary hardware and is adjustable, but the table is otherwise ready to use. My UPS guy was irritated, but I was relieved that I didn't have to put anything together.
There are two cup holders and a rectangular space for a remote control. I usually just keep the drawer open, but I can close it with pens in the rectangle spot.

It's now fantastic! It's fantastic with just a couple of tweaks! The built-in power cord, which comes in three (3-foot) lengths, distinguishes this side table from others. two usb cords and two pronged) plugs BUT. Ashley Furniture squandered a golden opportunity to significantly improve this product. They should've made two changes, in my opinion, to make this a hands-off experience. A functional piece of furniture with a five-star rating. br>br>1- br>br>br>br>br>br>b All cords plugged into the built-in charger must currently exit ON TOP of the furniture. This gives me the same effect as my first photo - top left. A sloppy appearance. They should have drilled holes in the inside of the unit so that you can run charging cables like those for your headset, laptop, or iPad through them. That way, your electronics can remain hidden while still being charged. 2- br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b That drawer had the potential to be extremely useful - However, it is essentially useless as it is. A cup holder is a complete waste of space, as is the other recessed area for the remote. We altered it by flipping it over, removing the drawer rails, and flush-cutting the drawer sides. The rails were then reattached so that it would slide in smoothly. It took a few tries to get the rails exactly where we wanted them, but we now have a drawer that can hold an iPad - AND WE BORED A HOLE IN THE BACK OF THE DRAWER, SO IT CAN BE CHARGED IN THE DRAWER). br>br>Now we've got an end table with a drawer and a power cord running through it. Our son's headsets are kept on the top shelf, while his controllers are kept on the bottom shelf - on their charger, which is plugged into the cabinet's built-in charger and runs through a hole we drilled in the back. br>br>I'd never used a bore on a drill before, but I figured it out on my own and it was simple. It's just that the holes should have been pre-drilled in the furniture. You are not required to use them, and no one would have known they were there if you did not. The manufacturer squandered a golden opportunity. Anyway, our charging table is now one of my favorites!.
It comes fully assembled and ready to use. Normally, I wait for my husband to get home so I can deal with packages and set up, but I was able to complete this task quickly on my own. I was taken aback by the number of people who received multiple items with 'gashes. ' I couldn't find any, and I thought this was an excellent piece. It's very convenient to have an outlet, a cup holder, and a shelf right next to you; it was much less expensive than the ones in stores, but it still looks great with our expensive pieces. I'd suggest it.
These tables are used as end tables on both sides of my couch, and everyone loves them! They have a lot of sturdiness to them. A charging station with USB ports and outlets is located on the top of the building. They have a drawer with two built-in cupholders and a remote holder, as well as a lot of storage space. They're quite lovely. I've already gotten several compliments on them, despite the fact that I only recently received them. I also like the wood on the top because it appears to be a water-resistant material that still looks nice; I've attached a photo of the table's back because someone asked what it looked like; I would recommend this table to anyone, and I would buy it again!.
I suppose this was to be expected. Ashley appears to be a garbage disposal expert. It appears that the seller, Rhodes Furniture, is also a scumbag. br>For more information, see the photos attached. The hinged cover over the outlets, as well as the slide out tray/drawer, are misaligned. Neither of them are going to be able to close completely. Rhodes Furniture wanted me to pay 20% restocking fee if I returned it, and Amazon didn’t help at all with that issue at all at all at all at all at% I'm only now beginning to accept my over-abundance of energy. Rhodes Furniture sells a high-priced Ashley garbage piece. BEWARE!.
The Ashley Furniture side table was delivered on time and in good condition. I couldn't wait to put it beside my disabled husband's lift chair. I brought it into the house, unwrapped it, and inserted the pins to hang the sheff into the cabinet door. The door tore straight down the left side when I opened it; the door was made of such thin material that it tore when I opened it. Because getting the table out of the packaging was such a pain, I was hoping they'd just send me a replacement door instead of having to repackage the entire thing, but nope! Ashley informed me that I would have to return the entire package in order to receive a refund or replacement. Ashley Furniture, you've been nothing but helpful. I've repackaged it as best I can and will request a refund.
This end table is one of my favorites. I first used it as a coffee table next to my couch, then as a nightstand next to my bed, and now as a printer stand next to my desk. The built-in electrical outlets on the top are a huge plus! It enables me to keep my workspace tidy and organized. It also has a pull-out cup holder, which I use to sit my coffee on every morning, keeping my workspace tidy. The hardware is well-made and long-lasting, in my opinion. I use the doors and pullouts on a daily basis. This is the second time I've bought one. On both sides of my desk, I have one. The only issue I have is that the photo appears to show a much lighter color than the actual product; aside from that, I think this end table is fantastic!.
