The top has a nice pattern. The unit is simple to put together. 10 minutes, at most. This console is exactly what I needed to use as a base for a custom live edge Cherry slab that I ordered specifically for this unit from a local craftsman. br>br>While the faux wood top that comes with the piece is nice, I was only interested in the metal base. I'm going to use the top that came with the unit to make a wall shelf for my utility room. The only issue I encountered during the assembly process was that one of the metal pieces that holds the round plastic "feet" on the bottom of the legs was welded on slightly crooked, causing one of the feet to sit at an angle. It's not a major issue. When everything else was so nice, it was just a little irritating. br>br>Edit. Someone asked if you could put casters on one of the feet, so I added a picture of one of them. If the screw diameters are the same, you might be able to do it. It'd go in without a hitch. If the caster screw diameter was a little smaller and you secured it with a bolt, it would work as well.

On my covered patio, I purchased this to use as a potting table. The entire top swelled and disintegrated after being hit by a sprinkler one night; the description may have stated that the top was made of cheap particle board covered in a wood-like material. Looks like the veneer was adhered with water-soluble glue, but Is it only for one night? The shelves have the appearance of being garage shelves. I would never put this in my house, with the exception of a laundry room or garage, where it could get wet.

However, the "tool" required to assemble the product was not included in my shipment; I attempted to use what I had on hand but was unsuccessful. I called the number listed for problems, and they were very nice, and they promptly shipped the tool and more screws, as well as informing me of the expected delivery time. As promised, the service was quick. br>br>There was also a 6 inch scratch on the table top, but since it's a heavy item that costs a lot to ship, I figured I'd just polish it up with furniture polish or wood pens. However, putting this piece together and getting it set up was a breeze for me. I'm overjoyed, because I've accomplished my goal! br>br>I was pleasantly surprised to receive not only my tool, but also a new top piece, which I had not anticipated, as I had stated that it was no problem and that I would repair it myself. br>br>Because the seller isn't present at the manufacturing facility, this type of situation is extremely difficult to manage. Go to your neighborhood furniture store if you want perfect. We have deductions for defective materials supplied by third parties over which we have no control. I work in the construction supply business, and we get all of our materials from third parties. br>br>These are the sellers for whom I am grateful; they went above and beyond what I had requested and truly delivered. br>br>They didn't ask for any reviews or anything, as I've been asked in the past. br>br>I believe I've been asked to give positive reviews for a handful or two products for free since 2004, and I've declined. I stated that I did not require anything for free and that I would pass; I believe in honest and transparent reviews. br>br>I'm a little behind on my reviews, but I believe that credit is due for a job well done, and that false information should be pointed out.

It's the perfect size to serve as a "sofa table" between my couch and the wall, holding all of my miscellaneous items. Sleek and durable. It's a perfect match for the coffee table I got from the same store. The faux wood top is beautiful, and I'm extremely pleased with my purchase; it was well worth the money.

I bought this for our home office, and while shopping, I noticed that there are a few different styles available, each with a different number of lower shelves. (One option, which is marketed as a shoe storage solution, has multiple shelves. ) for instance, as a storage option). br>I chose this one because it had two lower shelves, which I needed. The one at the very bottom will eventually house two large fabric bins for storing craft supplies. The middle shelf is already being used as a "charging station" for laptops, Chromebooks, and tablets in the family. A decorative item/photo, as well as an accent lamp, are displayed on the top shelf. This is a very useful piece that also adds a nice accent to the room. It was really easy and quick to assemble, and lightweight enough to move around easily, and it matches the rest of the office furniture I bought from the same line.
