Wood and metal entry table is easy to assemble thanks to smart design and clear instructions. It takes about 20 minutes to put this together. Included is all the hardware.

I really like the way the table is made. As I couldn't find any manufactured in the United States tags, I'm guessing it A hard finish is applied to the shelves (some form of hard material), which is likely made from MDF. Stable, nicely finished, but this is not a hand finished wood product. The steel supports are heavy, the assembly is firm, and it is assembled with a good amount of force.

Is there room for one shelf to be left off to accommodate storage of larger items?

Support is provided for both the middle and bottom shelves by crossed tabs under the middle support. The tabs protrude into the open area by about 1". I am sorry for the mess, but I felt it necessary to review this product. I have been looking for quite a while for a stand that would be sufficient for holding our 20 gallon fish tank. There isn't much weight that an item will hold. There is a statement about its carrying capacity. I believe it's Tanks that hold 20 gallons or more tend to weigh around 200 pounds. I like that the middle support is there, in addition to the fact that it looks.

A solid piece, but assembly was a bit of a challenge

It fits extremely well behind our couch behind this longer console table. Despite the fact that it feels extremely study, it was a bit of a pain to assemble. extremely difficult to line up the holes as the way the assembly is done, it is difficult to see the screws and holes at once. It was difficult to describe, but was definitely a I needed it to fit exactly what I needed it to fit, and it appears to be well-built. I am including a close up shot of the shelf finish to demonstrate that it wasn't exactly how I pictured it, although I suppose this could be due to.
