I had a hard time finding a console table that was both wide and deep enough for this purpose. Two of the tables I purchased, both of which are as described, the simple design gives plenty of leg room (many console tables this wide have cross supports). Sanding and sealing them is on my to-do list The wood itself is quite porous and prone to staining, so I can see that I will have to stain it when I pour drinks or eat. There are 30 inches between the arms on my couch which makes it 86"L by 86"H. My first worry was that I saw reviews that indicated mold and smells, but the two tables I received were very clean, had very little dust, and the slight factory odor was gone after.

As part of my foyer, I needed a large table. In addition to wanting it to complement my existing cherry woodwork, I also wanted to install an antique barn window on it. Several of the items I saw were out of my reach, so I thought I would give this one a try. I was pleasantly surprised with the results! I love this furniture piece. A solid foundation. The building process is simple. Paint was applied over it and then it was coated with clear gloss water-based On top of it, Miniwax Polycrylic is applied. The entryway table can be used for this purpose.
There was a similar table on another website, but it was much more expensive. Our order arrived on Amazon much faster than estimated and we were glad to find it there. Sanded to a very smooth finish, the table is ready to be finished. Paint was applied to the bottom and stain was applied to the top.
