The weight of the fish tank and contents is equal to 20 gallons of water. I've got mine full of heavy books, and it's holding up just fine (keep in mind that the shelves are about an inch deep). 12 ins. There will be overhang if the depth of the fish tank exceeds that. My recommendation is to contact the manufacturer and find out how much weight each shelf can hold. Otherwise, you might want to invest in an aquarium stand designed specifically for this purpose. It's inconvenient to have a stack of books fall off a shelf. It's a disaster when a fish tank collapses, especially for the fish. For this bookshelf, I believe a 10 gallon container would be more appropriate.
I believe it is more brown than gray. If you have other distressed wood, it will coordinate, but if you're looking for a true gray, this is not the color for you.
30" tall. Mine is hidden behind my sofa.
The "X" braces are, in fact, required for stability. I've stacked my shelves high with heavy books and placed them in a location where they won't be bumped by people or animals. It's totally secure. You could remove the crossbars if you were only going to display light items and the unit was going to be placed in a location where it couldn't be bumped.

This isn't just a table; it's also a nice addition to the room's decor.
1. 2. It's simple to put together. br> The wooden board is of good, high quality, as it is thick, heavy, and sturdy.
3. The look is very clean and natural, and it can be used in any roombr>4. It's just the right size, not too big or too small, so it's easy to move around. br>br>So far, there hasn't been any fading on the table, and everything looks as good as the day I got it.
To begin with, it is a substantial piece. The boards, as well as the frame, are very thick. I thought this was going to be a 'grayed brown' based on the product pictures and many of the reviews, but it's actually gray. (It appears brown in my photos, but believe me when I say it is gray in person. ) ) Since I could only find this color in a 55" screen, it doesn't really work in my all-beige home. However, it's such a lovely piece that I'm just going to paint it. A bent frame piece, a bent rod, wood without the screw hole insert, and wood that was missing the paper overlay finish but had been painted gray to blend in were among the problems. I was fortunate in that I was able to conceal all of the damage, but the bent frame and rod made it difficult to get the rods to sit together and line up so that a bolt could be threaded in. I had to put in some effort, but once it was put together, it looked great, so I'd give it a rating of 3 to 4. I didn't like it as much when I was putting it together as I do now that I've been using it for a few weeks.
My dining room lacked a focal point, but it now feels finished. It's ideal for both decorating and storage because of its large shelf space. Furthermore, the product was delivered in excellent condition. packaged; Every component was housed in a flat and simple-to-use container. open box. It was also easy to follow the instructions. In general, I'm very pleased. Friends and family have complimented me on the table, and I would strongly suggest it to others.
The shelves arrived undamaged and without smashed corners, which was a lucky break for me. This item is labeled as a "team lift" and "team assemble" item on the box. If you're doing this alone, I'd suggest putting it together near where it'll be used. It's also not a good idea to try to carry this box by yourself. It's a lot easier to open the box and cart the contents one by one. Overall, I was able to put this together on my own, to a degree, by following the instructions. To prevent parts from falling/sliding or marring my floor, I needed to lay down some blankets/towels on the floor. I attached the center wooden shelf to the first shelf H frame, creating a long T assembly that stood alone. Then I slid and attached the center H frame, followed by the right H frame, leaving the hex bolts just loose enough to square everything up later. Then I attached the bottom shelf in the same manner, tightened everything up while the unit was laying flat (without the top), and followed the rest of the instructions as written. It turned out to be quite simple. br>br>Once everything is finished and put together, attach the metal x-ray machine to it. The shelf is sturdy because the straps are tight.
Because my daughter's new room was much smaller than her old one, we had to get rid of her old bedroom set. This is supposed to be for a hallway, but I'm using it as a TV stand, and the width still allows for a walk path. To be honest, I forget how narrow the width is until I take a measurement of the wall. I'd use it in a bedroom or as a feature wall.
The instructions were not the easiest to follow in terms of pictures. Take a look at the original picture from Amazon and build or read the instructions. It's surprisingly easy to put together. You don't need two people to build it, as suggested, because you did it yourself. I didn't have to adjust the risers at the bottom of the shelf after I assembled it and flipped it over because it was surprisingly sturdy. It's light but strong, and it has a sophisticated appearance. If you've been debating whether or not to buy it, I strongly advise you to do so. Don't be afraid to take a chance; you won't be sorry. This is an ashy brown, just so you know. I'm sure it's due to lighting and photo editing that the color isn't as dark as it appears in the picture.
I purchased the 3-pack. I chose the 2-shelf unit over the 3-shelf unit. For some extra storage space and to match what I already have, I bought a shelf unit to put under a tv I'm mounting on the wall. It's not the best quality, but it'll do for now. together- I'd buy more of your furniture for you! It is extremely durable and attractive. When I'm more organized, I'll try to include photos.
