Wow, their measurements are off by a long shot. The table measures 39 1/2 inches in length, 11 1/2 inches in width, and 31 1/2 inches in height.
No, it is not 50 pounds.
It reaches my lower hip, and I am 5 feet 1 inch tall. It's absolutely incredible. As you enter my condo, you'll see it in the hallway. It looks fantastic! It appears to be more than 2 feet in height.
At the widest point, depth is measured from back to front. In this case, the top shelf serves as a good measuring point, measuring 11 3/4" from the wall to the front. When I want to read in bed, I use this instead of a headboard so that my lamps are above my head. Everything is in order.

I had one minor issue with the wood splitting a little when I overtightened a screw, but other than that, I'm completely satisfied! This console table is attractive and sturdy, especially considering its light weight. The price is so good that I'm going to order a second one to use as a coffee station! br>br>Edited to add that I received the second one, which was just as simple and quick to assemble as the first.
I've started grading furniture I buy online on a scale of one to ten (remember those days?). Yikes! br>br>At the factory, the table's finish was noticeably scuffed up. And I'm not just referring to one part; I'm referring to the majority of them. It's black, after all, and it'll get a lot of use. and-tear, so I decided to assemble it because it's the last piece of furniture I'm likely to buy in the near future. br>br>What bothers me the most is the pine-infused formaldehyde odor that emanates from it - It's as if someone walked through a trench during World War I with a can of Lemon Pledge and/or something. It's almost repulsive. When I moved it from my "well ventilated DIY space" to the hall where I intend to place it, I noticed this. Anyway, it's now leaning against the window, fan whirring. Some things, I guess, I'll never understand. br>br>On the plus side, for what it is, it looks pretty nice. I also have to give credit to the people who came up with the "color by numbers" approach to directions. That's huge (especially if you've been exposed to a lot of formaldehyde). What you should know: br>br> br>* This is comparable to what you'd find at Walmart: ((Perhaps, by a long shot. )) Definitely, something better could be found at Ikea. br>* It's a simple piece (unlike a desk or dresser), so I expect it to survive a move with no problems. br>* I like the overall contemporary look. br>* If you can't afford a 40 oz, you can sniff the particle board and feel your worries melt away lolbr>br>***Final note - Because some of the holes in which the screw fasteners are embedded may need to be tweaked, you'll want to have a flashlight on hand. You'll be fine if you have a small LED flashlight. ***.
So I wrote about the odor, but now I'm writing that I think we've figured it out. While I assumed it was the composition board glue, he assumed it was the white paint. So I used a lysol bathroom cleaner wipe with a scrubby side to thoroughly clean all of the white paint. That seemed to be the most effective, and the smell has mostly vanished. (Put your nose to the board and see if you can pick up a trace. ) )br>br>The product is exactly as shown in the picture, and there are no issues with assembly. I didn't notice any scuffs or discoloration, and I thought it looked great in the teens' room as a TV table. BUT the odor! Our apartment was completely filled with it. Even though it was two rooms away, we could smell it in our bedroom while sleeping. Formaldehyde was brought up. I had a feeling it was something chemical, but I couldn't pinpoint what it was. I assumed it was the particle board glue, so I left it outside for a week. It has faded, but the odor persists. The price is excellent for this small piece, and it appears to be in good condition, but the odor is a major issue.
The only difference between the top and bottom is that the top has a higher sheen. The table is very sturdy and looks great in the space we have it in. If I ever needed to, I'd buy it again. We absolutely adore it!.
To begin with, this table was simple to put together but time consuming. I would have given it five stars if it weren't for a couple of minor flaws that I believe could have been avoided. Stickers are involved in both of these minor issues. br>br>Each item is identified by a round white sticker bearing a black number. After you've put everything together, you'll want to remove the stickers. This is the source of my first issue. These stickers are extremely sticky and leave a difficult-to-remove residue. This can be done with a little Goo Gone and some elbow grease. It's just a tad inconvenient. br>br>The second sticker issue concerns the white round stickers used to cover hardware on finished edges. They're the same color as the finish, but they're a little more translucent. They are eye-catching and appear to be low-cost. Filling the hole with spackle or putty, sanding it down, and then matching the paint is the best solution. As a result, the holes will be hidden. br>br>This is a sturdy table that would look great in a hallway or entrance. It has a nice design and is a good value for the money, so if you can overlook a few sticker issues, it's definitely worth buying.
Thank you for being so sweet to my table.
This item is aesthetically pleasing in and of itself. It was incredibly simple to put together; I'm not sure why people think it's so difficult; if you've ever picked up a screwdriver, this is the easiest thing you'll ever do. This product's price had dropped, so I went ahead and bought it. It offers excellent value for money and is extremely light. You have the option of repeating the process. This is a simple way to organize your home. I will say that because it is not solid wood, I reduced the price to reflect its sturdiness. As a result, any major home moves will almost certainly necessitate some tender loving care. Aside from that, I'm very happy with this product (see photo).
