This is the biggest rip-off I've ever purchased on Amazon. THIS IS NOT A GOOD ITEM TO BUY. I haven't even put the stupid thing together yet, and it's already ripping because the "sticker" on the wood is peeling off. It's not a good match. The screws become stripped and do not thread properly into anything. br>br>Is it possible that it is waterproof? IT'S NOT EVEN PULLING APART!.

I also like the metal legs, but the fake wood shelves are a disappointment. Personally, I believe they could have done a better job with the shelves for this price. It's wrapped in a wood-like sticky paper, which makes it appear cheap and cheesy, but it wasn't cheap in my opinion. I'm sure that once I decorate it, I'll be able to hide how cheap the fake wood looks, but for now, I'm just disappointed. In person, the shelves appear to be a lot lighter than they appear in the photos. However, the size is ideal for the application. I was mostly dissatisfied with the shelves and how difficult they were to align and assemble.

The instructions are short but to the point. The construction is solid, and the fit is superb; unlike some other reviewers, I had no trouble aligning holes and screws. The only real drawback I found was that the two short bolts that go in the center of each of the two X-shaped X-shaped X-shaped X-shaped X-shaped X-shaped X-shaped X-shaped X- The braces at the back of the table come with two nuts that are too tight, and there is no tool included to force the bolts through the nuts, so I had to go find a pair of pliers and use a lot of elbow grease to get a tight fit. br>br>I'm using this in an old house with a crooked floor, but thanks to the included leveling feet, there's no wobble. br>br>I'm using this in an old house with a crooked floor, but thanks to the included leveling feet, quite a bit of the black paint had stripped off the nuts by the time I succeeded; oh well, it's in the back so I guess no one will ever notice. br>br>The rough-hewn look appeals to me. The three shelves have an adobe look to them. I'm guessing they're made of vinyl and mounted on MDF. If you get within a few feet of the wood grain, you can tell it's fake, but it's not too plasticky, smooth, or shiny. It will suffice. br>br>I am satisfied with my purchase. It is a good deal.

I was looking for a long, tall, narrow console table, but finding one proved to be more difficult than I had anticipated. When I saw this, I knew it was something I could pull off. It's simple to put together, but there are a couple of quality control issues: two of the screw holes don't align with the receiving end on a shelf, and one of the receiving ends, a metal dohickey in the particle board, isn't securely fitted in the particle board. I glued the dohickey in without issue, and the shelves function fine without being screwed in at all points. The table is light in weight, but it has a solid and secure feel to it. It was useful to have the foot options. The thickness of the faux wood surface is higher than expected. It's not bad at all.

This arrived in one day, and I messaged the seller ahead of time with some questions, and they responded quickly. I'm talking about a 30-minute time frame here! I'm very pleased with my purchase; it arrived in excellent condition, was simple to put together, and contained no missing or damaged parts. The instructions are simple to follow; the color is a little darker than the original picture, but I was hoping for that and had read about it in the reviews beforehand, so I was prepared. It appears to be a very light gray when viewed in person, but it's actually a medium steel gray. I'm sure it's just difficult to capture true color in a photograph, especially because everyone's display differs. Even though I'm six months pregnant, it only took me 35 minutes to put it together. I would have taken 25 if I hadn't been able to figure out why the last holes on the shelf wouldn't line up. This is entirely the fault of the user. The key is to screw in the cross bars but not tighten them. Then, after you've attached the shelves, go back and tighten all of the bolts on the back. I would strongly advise anyone interested in purchasing this product to do so.

I just got the package a little over an hour ago. According to the instructions, this should only take about 20 minutes to put together for one person. Because the holes did not line up, it took about 40 minutes. I was able to get the screws into the holes by bending the metal a little bit. It appears appealing at first glance, but beware. The wood is a type of plywood with a plastic wrap that mimics the appearance of wood. It is easily scratched, and the plastic peels away easily, revealing some sort of shoddy plywood beneath. As I previously stated, the holes did not line up properly, and the metal pieces are not as durable as I had hoped. As I was walking it down the stairs, the little legs fell off. Overall, it's a waste of time. Don't waste your time or money; I'm not even asking for a refund; I'm simply discarding it.

So, the first issue is that when you disassemble the box, you discover that there is no hardware inside. I spent 15 minutes assuming I'd thrown it away, looking in every possible location, but it was nowhere to be found. So I'm off to Lowes to buy some hardware for around $15. Second, the instructions state "one person, 20 minutes" or something along those lines - It's hilarious. I had to enlist my fiance's assistance and perform a variety of gymnastics in order to align some, but not all, of the holes. Many of them were an inch or more off the mark. Perhaps this is due to the missing hardware, but other reviews have stated the same thing, indicating that there is a problem. Finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally, finally The wood appears to be made of a synthetic material - I have other fake wood items that don't appear to be as obvious. From a distance, it looks fine, but I believe they could have done better for the price. br>br>Amazingly, despite the fact that some of my shelves only have a few screws, they feel very stable and don't wobble. I wouldn't put anything heavy on it because we only have small items, but given how poorly the assembly went, I'm impressed. br>br>Honestly, from afar, it looks pretty good and it's stable, so I'm giving it three stars; if I had the choice, I'd give it two. I wouldn't suggest this to a friend as a first choice; instead, I'd suggest looking around to see if you can find something better for around the same price, because it's not a great value for the money, even without the missing hardware and assembly issues.
