A couple of years ago, I had an old stinky spring futon mattress that I wanted to replace. As for the price, I was not expecting much. I took it out of the box and let it sit for a couple of days. My futon was the ideal place to place it. Getting it folded proved to be a bit challenging. That, however, isn't what stands out to me most about the was when I sat down on this cloud mattress of awesome comfort that I felt barely able to stand up after being sucked forever into this wonderful world of comfort. I've reviewed other 6 inch mattresses on Amazon, but this one is an inch and a half thick. You can't feel the futon frame through it like some others I've reviewed. The best mattress I have ever purchased was a futon mattress. The futon frame is light and easy to fold and unfold with little resistance, making it ideal for single use.

Because of the high ratings, I chose this option, and I am satisfied with my choice. Although it is intended to be used for company, I found it to be very comfortable and could sleep on it easily without any complaints. It is an added bonus that the black covering is beautiful. As I have a twin over futon bed for my taller grandsons, this bed will be used by the taller one (six feet four inches). If he sleeps diagonally, he will not be hung over the next day.
