quite amazed to find out that I was able to put the futon together by myself (with a little "help" from my 2-year-old) The old version). The sofa can double as an extra bed for guests, and it is used as extra seating as well. To convert it from couch to bed, you just have to fold forward a little bit of the back, and the catch lets go.
