Sitting on a rock is like sitting on a cloud. This is by no means comfortable. I can't sit comfortably on the back or seat cushions since they are too hard to lie on. Here are photos taken right after assembly. It took 45 minutes out of the box to take these photos. The leg of one of the animals was broken, too. A few weeks ago I emailed the manufacturer hoping to get some kind of repair kit, but they told me that they couldn't send replacements for areas with large cuts. Since the futon has doubled in price since 3 weeks ago, I can't just buy a new version. It was relatively easy to assemble because one of the sides was bent. This seat is not comfortable to sit on for long periods of time. It's much more comfortable to use Ikea's similar chair.

I'd like to own it because it is in excellent condition and works like a charm. The product arrived torn and bruised from the shipping process alone. See the attached photo of the product right after it was removed from the packaging! This rip in the corner is very upsetting to me as I am worried that it will get worse over time. In addition to being uncomfortable, it isn't very supportive. Although it functions well as a futon from a utilitarian standpoint, it could not be remotely comfortable for guests unless it were treated as a layering mattress. What a great idea! There is a little stiffness to it, but the quality makes up for it! Unlike a regular chair, this one isn't one you would sit in every day. I would say it's more of a chair reserved for guest who you won't stay too long.

I received it at 11 AM and it is good. By noon I had it all set up in my living room, and it was completely assembled I am not handy and this could easily be assemble in 15 minutes, even though my skill level is not high. The picture looks good to me- The only exception is one arm seems to have a small dent. Although not really noticeable, it is still there. In the end, for the price I paid, it's a good chair, since I'm only really using it for I find it not very comfortable because it is so stiff but maybe it will become more comfortable over time. recommend this product because of the aesthetics and the cost.
