My chair was designed for a child less than a year old, and I believe a 6yr old would be way too small for it.
I am not sure of the manufacturer's weight limit, but my 3 year old is 34 lbs (and 38in tall), so it's just a little too small for him, both in terms of height and weight. It was great when he was younger and the place was small but he'll never forget it Approximately 24 to 36 hours However, the weight is 30 pounds. I hope that clears things up!
Make sure the button on the side is pushed all the way in (I used the back of a pen to do this), and then the plastic piece will slide back onto the chair, enabling it to close. My finger hurt after pushing the button into place for 20 minutes, until I realized that I must push the button in completely!

The best thing I got for my 2 year old is this. A toddler's mother provides a seat for her five year old son during soccer practice and games with her older sister. With his weight of over 30 pounds, this chair is the perfect size for him, but I do not think this chair will still fit him when he is 6 years old. Besides the print and the cup holder, he likes the fact that the cup holder has his name on it. There is only one thing I dislike about the design of the back leg the safety. Even an adult finds it hard to use. I understand how it came to be, but it's not intuitive. To collapse the lid, I had to shove my keys into the button to force it to collapse. Trying to release it for the first time ripped my thumb.
The game is not my favorite (Grandma). We bought it as a birthday present for our grandson who just turned four. An old person. It's a big hit with him! This is something for which I am happy. After moving and having to start over, I didn't have any park chairs to use. My three-year-old was one of the ones I came across in my search so I wanted to make sure everyone got what they wanted. My sister will use the chair for her 1 1/2 year old as we decide not to use it (so we will give it to my sister). When I looked at the picture online with the little boy sitting in it I thought it would be large enough for my son, who stands at 34 inches tall. It isn't a bad chair but he is taller than it, so he sits in it almost like his knees are up on his chest. He loves it but I will have to buy another one for him before the end of the year.
As such, my daughter loves the chair, but its lock mechanism makes it nearly impossible to use. Because the lock is poorly constructed (even for adults), it is very difficult to open or close. It does not seem necessary to lock it. In my opinion, you should pass on this one, unless you intend to leave it open in your child's room or in the front yard. This is the best bargain I have ever found on a chair. It is good for my three year old and it is cute. This portable water bottle has a compartment on the side that holds most of the kid sippy cup sizes. It is lightweight and easy to handle for outdoor activities, such as camping, beach, park, etc. It looks durable, too, and my toddler loves it!.
Loves the fact that my kid likes it. Like the movie, this is just like the real thing. I prefer the lock so my child doesn't get trapped in it fumbling in the chair and getting squashed. It folds out nicely, folds up nicely and fits in my closet nicely. The only problem is that she left her snacks in the cup holder and my dog chewed right through it, so that's a bit disappointing. I would have preferred it to be dog proof, but that's my fault. As for the second one, I have also obtained it for my other child.
When I purchased this for my daughter, I was originally planning to wait until Christmas to give it to her but I It's a good thing I did, because my daughter is a year and 3 months and the size fits her perfectly. A very cute item that is not well-made. The chair I bought for my 3 year old is small and it is surely not sturdy. I can see it breaking easily nor does it look well made. If these are going to be used for camping chairs, things will get dirty and everyone will be more rough, I would definitely not recommend them. This seems to be only made for children under the age of oneyear. This is a very small one.
