The cover doesn't come off, but it is able to slide back under the table. When I serve food that is hot, I do not use the cup holder and I do not use the table since it comes off the legs too easily
Selected User Reviews For Table Mate II Folding TV Tray Table and Cup Holder with 6 Height and 3 Angle Adjustments The Original TV Tray (Black)
As of now, I expect this TV tray to perform as My thoughts are that it is good and I am pleased with my purchase. Although some other reviews are accurate, there are some things I disagree with. There is not much weight to it, but it is very light, so I did not expect it to be as light as it is. There is no locking mechanism in place to keep the tray from rolling out of position. My stand sits flat on the ground. In order to raise the chair up and down, you have to compress both sides of the pins in the holes in each leg. This may be difficult for someone who is elderly or has While this table can be folded flat, it would take some disassembly for you to do so, therefore I wouldn't call folding it a feature of it. Under the tray, there is a cup holder that slides in and out, but some of our cups fit too small and it is flimsy enough that I'm not 100% sure I could trust the cup holder to This is what I bought for my son to use while working on homework out on our porch. My target was to choose something light and small so that I can move it easily from the garage to the house and back every day. The fact that it can be lifted and lowered or tilted is very nice. A tray this size is large enough to fit textbooks and other schoolwork. There is not enough smoothness on top of the paper to allow writing directly on it, so something should be beneath it so we can write. why I chose the tray with curved legs rather than one with crossed legs is that I thought it would be less likely to get kicked by accident. Having read the negative reviews, I think I've made a good decision, but you need to read the positive reviews as well so you can decide if it's right for you.
The pros are Please note I like how big the table top is, much more spacious than my old TV tables. -- My legs felt unrestricted by the table legs because there are no cross bars on the legs and they are spaced apart enough- Snapping anything into place requires no tools - you just snap it into place* It is convenient to be able to adjust the slope of the table top. There is also a nice lip around the top of the bag, also
CONS Please note This is a very unstable and flimsy structure. Despite an overall tightness in the legs, they will wiggle very easily with practically any touch. - The top of the desk becomes unhitched at the slightest upward motion, and completely collapses
If a table is collapsed (as in standing up so you can store it) it is extremely unbalanced and will fall over with the slightest As you can see in the advertisement, the legs of the couch are tucked under, providing more support than a freestanding couch would. Taking a stand. Please note There is a big difference in the amount of weight supported in the back and the A bent table top is easy to bend)
- It's tough to switch the tabletop slope as smoothly as I thought it would be. In two sets of three hooks, the metal bar fits to determine which of the three hills to climb. There were times when the bar would fall into different hooks on each side of the table, making the table top Please note In any case, the cupholder is useless, as has been stated by others. The cupholder is actually part of two pieces the bottom pops out of its compartment when I raise my cup too quickly. The radius does allow the cupholder to hold large drinks, but it was so flimsy that I couldn't trust it to hold heavy drinks long-term. I think this table would make a great table if some minor alterations were made to enhance its I would value this table at around $15 if I were to determine it's price based on my personal opinion. Since I will return the ones I purchased in favor of a competitor, I will try them out. Once all the stability issues are fixed, this would more than justify the $40 price tag.
In my reviews, I almost never write anything negative. I learned from my mother that the best policy is to never say anything if you can't say something nice. There are two ways to deal with this table either I scream "Serenity Now!" or I give up. I can do this review or I can send it to you. 1) The top is so slick that your plate of food will go flying if you bump into it. 2) It is almost a danger that it is so weak. Those who weigh more than 5 pounds should not attempt this. 3) Don't put your elbow on it while you are Will Robinson, you are in danger. 4) If you fold up the table and let it collapse, it becomes uncentered on the support and you sit there trying to find what's wrong with it. Five) The cup holder is too small, weak, and cannot hold a beverage larger than eight 6 ) I paid almost $80 for two of these tables, which I will take to the thrift store after work. I was once fooled by that. What a terrible thing to do.
I think it sags about an inch, especially on the end where the cup holder is located. Despite not being very sturdy, the cup holder would make this device better than it is now. However, I still use it, and it is useful for a laptop, but too wobbly to sit on for eating a meal. Although the price is too high for me, I still like.
There is nothing more embarrassing than having such a poor, poorly made cup holder on such a beautiful table. In addition to being sturdy, the table looks decent and has good height and angle adjustments. A glass bottle of beverage weighing 24 ounces was placed in the cup holder on the first day, but by the end of the first day the cup holder had cracked.
I won't send it back because it won't be worth However, you would think that the guy who invented, patented, and clearly took a lot of pride in his product (that's on the website of his product) would have spent a bit more time making sure that the cup holder wasn't such a useless item.
