Selected User Reviews For Lifetime 80719 Wall Mounted Chair Rack, Black
I bought it because I am a long time Lifetime user and I trust the brand. It is a good product except for one critical defect. Despite the fact that the lag screws are too short, this product can't both support the weight of the chairs and hold the mount securely. 2 pieces are included in the package Screws that are 1/2 inch long. There is around 1" of screw left to actually go into the stud because the rack itself is 1" thick and drywall is another 1/2" thick. This was installed as instructed and I was able to get 12 chairs up off the floor and hanging nicely on a It was a happy day for me. My entire display came crashing down when I went to take down a couple of chairs the next day. I've had chunks of my drywall ripped out of my wall while the screws were ripping out of the wall. Fortunately it didn't do too much damage to our house but I had to patch it up quite a bit. went back to check and made sure all 3 screws were inside studs and it was installed correctly. My trip to the hardware store resulted in me purchasing some 3-foot long screws A new set of half-inch lag screws was used. As of now, it is Having to do this should not be necessary It should be sufficient to use the hardware that comes with it. Due to the fact that this product ships today, it is unsafe to recommend. I would easily give this 4 stars, maybe even 5. Only this critical flaw keeps it from earning 5 stars.
This seems to work well unless they sent me the wrong hardware or my garage is just strange. After a trip to Home Depot, I found this to work.
The chair hangs five at a time. I am extremely pleased with the quality and durability of this product. Generally strong. However, it may be difficult to install. I will still give it a five star rating because it exceeds my expectations. *Please note that
(1) Product assumes that there will be studs Two side holes are not aligned with the center hole (with 1 inch of space on each side
(2) Each side hole is 1 inch apart.
We have a single-car garage at our house built in 1940, and the studs are 24 inches apart. Once we got over the intricacies of how we hung the thing, we have to say we are very pleased with the end result. At our house, we host family gatherings and always have 20 folding chairs. I have no idea how to store them neatly Having two of these in our garage, our chairs are now hung up high and don't get in It's great to have this option for storage! This is a very easy-to-use application.
Install it in no time. The lag screws I used to attach it to the wall were longer. I didn't like the length of the hardware that came with it. As much as I wanted it to stay on the wall, I didn't want it to fall. It was actually a good thing for me to do. The eight Lifetime chairs hang on the rack, and the weight of the chairs is causing the arms of the chairs to slant slightly downward. The chairs begin to slide away from me as I have pushed them backwards so that they face the wall. Despite its size, the wall mount fit snugly into.
The table is very well-built, and it is perfect for my folding chairs, but it really needs a support. It needs to be bolted to the wall or to something substantial. If you're going to install this into something else besides thick wood beams, you might have difficulty. A lot of weight is also added to the chairs. You should check the weight of your folding chairs and make sure they don't exceed the recommended weight limit. I believe it should be 3 The maximum weight should be 5 pounds less than what they say. There would be no point in letting this.
During the installation, I was impressed with how simple it was. I might buy two more chairs if I need them. I currently have eight chairs. The products are great and the company is amazing. Moreover, I checked out the rest of their products and they're very good. Aside from that, it's actually made in America and not just a flag pasted on a page.
It was installed and then as a result of a huge crash, it was unplugged. There is not enough space between the lag bolts and the rack. The rack is 1 inch thick, and the 1/2" sheet rock leaves only As a result, items were damaged when it fell out of the wall. It is obvious that this is a problem, as many people have pointed out. There must be a solution to this problem in lifetime. There was a problem with the screws so I had to buy new ones. Now I'm painting and patching sheet rock.
