We were able to use this hall tree as an entry area that worked perfectly for us. All of the components were assembled by me. It was impressive to me how well packaged it was There are clear labels on each packet of parts and each package contains hardware with clear labels. Reviewing is not my usual practice, but I decided to give this one a try because there were too many issues. The box was pretty beat up but everything inside was fine. The UPS issue is not my fault, so I'm not complaining. A box was opened and assembly started Usually parts are in a labeled bag but they also had random screws in the bag without any label. Upon starting to put it together, I noticed that there were some holes missing (on the middle vertical panel) even though it was on the instructions and the bolts were included. The issue is kind of bothersome, but not really a big deal. A bung on the upright that ties the seating space to the vertical post had not been welded to it Together, these two are tightly bonded, so keeping them together is crucial. A hole had to be drilled or tapped manually so that the cable could be secured. It turned out that the bolt couldn't hold on to the bottom shelf because it did not have a threaded area. We found out when we tightened the bolt it pushed up through the particle board. Yeah that was annoying and left a noticeable mark on the bottom shelf but at least it's hidden from view. My overall experience with this product leaves me very disappointed. I would like to return it, but I am suspicious of having to tear it all apart to do so. Make sure you do your research before buying. The product is very cheap, made in a hurry, and it will serve its purpose for the moment. The quality of the workmanship is poor, but otherwise the experience would be good.
Due to the wideness of most hall trees, it was difficult for me to find a thin hall tree to fit my space. As a result, I ordered right away and I couldn't be happier with the product.
