This has just been put together and I am a little disappointed, especially since the reviews were so glowing. The legs were scratched up, the upholstery was puckered, and the stitching wasn't so great. Other than that, the chair looks good, feels solid, and its purpose has been fulfilled.

but not more! Don't let yourself be duped by a seller! In spite of the fact that it claims to hold 440 lbs. , the product doesn't actually hold that much weight. That was the primary reason we bought this shoe rack it said it was built to hold this much This has already broken after one day of being put together. However, this was only 300 pounds, far less than the 440 pounds it was advertised to support. However, despite our assumption that this would be beneficial to all visitors to our new building, regardless of weight, we were never able to get even one visitor to use it. My sense is that this product could possibly withstand between 200 - 250 pounds, which would be more than half the weight of the 440lbs I wouldn't take the risk if you only need it for that much, but if you only need it for that much, this may work for you. A BRIEF UPDATE My email address was used by the company to contact me. A full refund was eventually granted to me. They deserve praise for making that decision. Although I give them an extra star for their customer service, my original review still stands, since this clearly does not hold up to 440 pounds, as can be seen in the pictures.

This is an excellent product. It fits sizes 6 to 8 This is 8 pairs of A great size. Fits two average size adults**, when removing shoes and putting them on. Two people are not designed to sit comfortably on it for lounging, but to handle shoe business in it - I love the seat! It is very comfortable. A great combination of appeal, elegance and durability. straightforward. Some of the bars may have been slightly warped, which meant getting them on at times took a little bit of work, but it was Its capabilities were no longer in doubt once the screws were in place and secured. As a recommendation, I would say yes. **My shoe bag fits 6 pairs of shoes (can fit 7 or 8 depending on the style of shoe. Flats or heels vs heavy work boots or work shoes). The space is large enough to fit calf-high boots If you don't mind them bending to one side, wear boots that are mid-length. It is not a good idea to wear rain boots because they are too stiff. I still have room for my snow boots even though they fit perfectly on my feet.

Over the course of my life, I have assembled many pieces of furniture, but this is the first one that I was not able to complete. took a long break in between attempts to calm down and attempted to do so several times. Although it should have been easy, it did not turn out to be so. There is a misalignment between the holes and the screws. In order to assemble this piece of garbage I will need to buy a drill and drill new holes which are centered on each other. I've wasted a lot of time and money with this.

We liked the black color better, and as well as being much stronger, it was also a much more comfortable item. A customer service rep who emailed me back (Bruce) was outstanding! He answered all my questions promptly and efficiently. I cancelled the other order after He assuaged any concerns I had, and he helped me order this bench. This is something I so wanted to do! My assistant and I just assembled it in about 30 minutes at most, and it was very simple An allen wrench is provided for all screws. There are only 7 pieces in the kit, plus some nuts. This whole frame can be put together almost all at once - just be sure to not tighten all the screws at once, as all the pieces need to fit together before all the screws are Using the instructions, I followed steps 1-6 and attached the cushioned top before tightening the screws, making sure they were tight enough so that the frame would remain together once tightened. Following the installation of the top, I systematically tightened all screws to ensure that the pieces of the frame were flush with one another and secure, yet not so tight as to warp the screw holes visible from the inside. As I sat on the bench, I turned it back over again, set it on the ground, and flipped it back over again. I felt secure in it and the cushion on top is quite comfortable for an item of this kind. No wobble at all, and it felt sturdy. I very much appreciate your efforts in producing and ensuring I get this amazing product! Songmics has become my go-to music service! The shoe bench arrived on time and in a shabby, damaged box. However, the bench was not damaged and all the parts were in tact. There is a utilitarian aspect to it. I need it to do the job that I want it to do. Strength and durability make it an excellent choice. The only problem is that it is crudely made. This is a sloppy job, and you can tell by the faux leather-based solder. A sloppy stitching job can be seen on the cushion cover and in its fitting. However, it is a utilitarian display, not a fashion one. I would return it if it was a piece of furniture that displayed art or was used to set drinks on. The system works, but not perfectly. I had no trouble putting it together. There was decent instruction in the package including an advice to leave some screws loose in order to attach the faux leather seat before securing the screws tightly. As soon as I get a chance, I will rip off that nasty faux leather and replace it with.

Love, love, love it. You can see if you enlarge the picture that there is a sign that I purchased from Amazon that says please remove your shoes, and a basket I purchased from Amazon, as well as slippers and a rug I purchased from Amazon. There is something I love about everything.

The maximum number of pairs of shoes that can be placed is eight. Our shoes always seem to pile up by the front door, so this was placed in the foyer. It has been awesome to use this bench. The two shoe racks make tidying up a breeze because we can store about eight pairs of shoes on each. My husband and I had no problem assembling it. As soon as I sit down and put my shoes on, it is not too low to the ground and I am comfortable sitting on it for 30 seconds. The shoes are kept in a secure place which is definitely recommended!.
