There are wheels on it, after all. Because they're made of metal, they might scratch your carpet. There aren't any locks, as far as I can tell; It's on carpet, so it doesn't move around and there's no risk of scratching the floor. However, it is an excellent bench, and we are extremely pleased with its quality, appearance, and feel!
The legs have wheels that are attached directly to them.
I'm not sure if it goes all the way to the knee, and I'm not sure what the exact measurements are. I didn't want mine to be too low, and I think it's just right; I'm 5'9" and it's just right for putting on shoes:
It can hold at least two people. 3 people. My husband's name is I sat on it, and the two of us weigh a little more than 300 pounds. This bench appeals to us.

I bought this bench about a month ago to put at the foot of a king-sized bed in the master bedroom. It appeals to me. Here are some of my thoughts: br>br>* Packing and putting together - Unpacking and putting it together took about 5 to 10 minutes. It's incredibly simple, and no special equipment is required. br>* Building a house - It's a lovely fabric. It appears to be woven linen with a strong weave. All of the seams and buttons appear to be in good working order. In terms of alignment, the nail head trim looks pretty good as well. I didn't think I'd like the wheels and planned to take them off, but they don't look bad, so I kept them. Although it appears that the wheels could be removed, this would make the bench shorter, and it is already quite low. Because I have carpet in my bedroom, I don't have to worry about the wheels scratching the floor, but if you do, silicone or rubber cups or protectors might help. br>* Operation - The bench appears to be in good condition. Two adults were seated at the same time in the test - Between the two of them, they weigh nearly 400 pounds - without any issues Is it something we jumped on, or something we roughed up? house? No. I imagine we'll use the bench to put our shoes on or to store laundry baskets, pillows, or comforters on occasion. Our slightly overweight cat appreciates the bench because it allows him to get up on the bed without assistance or damaging the bedding. )br>* Overall level of quality - For the price (under $200), it appears to be excellent. But isn't it true that you get what you pay for? Is it something you'll be able to pass down to your grandchildren in a few generations? Probably not, and Ethan Allen is a good place to look. Will it withstand "typical" day-to-day wear and tear? It will, in my opinion. COLOR - COLOR - COLOR - COLOR - COLOR - COLOR This appears to be the most important issue. It's neither white nor off-white. Oatmeal (literally) is white, but more of a neutral beige or tan. Because color perception is subjective, I've included a photo of the bench with some common items that anyone should have or can easily obtain - a white envelope, a manila file folder, and a white bowl filled with apple-flavored Quaker instant oatmeal - There is no liquid in this container. (It gets darker when you add liquid. ) ) This photograph was taken with light streaming in through the bedroom windows at the top of the image. The oatmeal is, as you can see, the most similar. So open an apple oatmeal packet, put it in a bowl, and carry it to wherever you want to put the bench, in whatever light you want, and that's basically the color you'll get. I bought the bedding on Amazon about a year ago, and the bench goes perfectly with it. If you want to see the color/pattern, go to Amazon and search "Echo Design Odyssey Duvet Cover. " Because he insisted on it, I also included a photo of the bench in relation to the bed, as well as one with the cat.
I just got this bench, and as soon as I opened the box, I was blown away by how elegant and lovely it is! It's even more stunning in person than it appears in the picture. It was extremely simple to put together, and once completed, it was extremely sturdy. I was so taken with it that I almost wished I had more places where I could put a bench like this. br>br>I've attached a couple of photos to demonstrate the color we received, as it has been mentioned by others. Although the color is not white as shown in the product image, it is a lovely light tan linen shade.
Using a Phillips driver, you can remove the casters. Each caster is secured to the wooden leg with three screws. You're going to lose 1 point. Height is 5". We use our bench in our carpeted bedroom and didn't want the casters digging into the carpet, which could cause holes and tears due to the small surface area of contact that each metal caster has with the ground. There is a lot more surface area to distribute the weight without the casters.

I'm hoping Amazon can figure out a way to hold these delivery people liable for any damages they may cause. The color of the legs bothered me as well. That was my fault because I based my expectations on the customer review photos rather than the actual listing photo. What do I adore? br>br> EACH AND EVERYTHING ELSE! It arrived a week ahead of schedule. I went with a blue color scheme - I wanted different gray tones, and I thought the blue would go well with my redesign (which is still in the works). The sturdiness is also something I appreciate - It's a 5 out of 5! Last but not least, the assembly has been BY FAR the easiest piece of furniture I've ever had to assemble. There are no tools required; all you need are your hands and a flick of the wrist! The legs are also neatly tucked away under the bench in a zipped compartment (a pleasant surprise). br>br>Just keep an eye out for the plastic washers that must be installed on the legs before they can be screwed to the bench. br>br>In terms of size, I have a standard king-size bed (not a Cali King). So . This is a purchase that should not be delayed - It's well worth the money, especially considering the price and ease of assembly.
The bench is nice, and the price is great, and it's easy to put together, but I'm giving it two stars because of the customer service. 800- 262- 1852 has left two voicemails that I have been unable to reach for several days. br>br>Because one of the leg pieces will not screw in no matter how hard I try, I need a replacement part. br>After failing to reach them by phone, I went to their website to fill out the replacement part order sheet. I've been waiting for a response for four days since I completed the form. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I've received three replacement legs so far, and none of them screw in. All of the screws are smaller than the hole into which they are supposed to be screwed. Once again, there is no way to contact a representative; the only option is to send an email and wait for a response.
Because I have a king-size bed, the chances of finding a bench long enough without spending a few hundred dollars are slim to none! With nail head detail, the fabric is more of a creamy white linen material. cushion with a button on top Legs on roller skates! Most importantly, the bench is 61 inches long; I looked at other vendors who had similar benches, but they were 51 inches or smaller, and they all cost the same or more. So, yes, I went for broke. I am overjoyed! If you have a kingsize bed, this is a good option. You can't go wrong with this bench if you're looking for a nice looking, affordable bench!.
I couldn't believe the price I paid on Amazon when I saw it on Amazon for $279. It's also perfect for my king-size bed's length. The only reason I gave it four stars was because a button on the cushion popped off, but it was a simple fix.
This has to be one of the best buys because the price is unbeatable. I bought it because of the length and style, but I wasn't expecting it to be of such high quality. It takes up space at the foot of my cal king bed and adds to the confusion. The size of my previous bench was dwarfed by the size of my bed. I'm extremely happy. This book comes highly recommended. Shopping on the internet is always a gamble, but this time I came out on top.
