The instructions say 2 people are needed to assemble the unit, but I'm a female over the age of 50 & It was no problem for me to assemble them. Since there are 4 women in the house, it was important to organize the shoes that tend to collect What I like about them is how they look & feel Seats should be sturdy enough so that you can sit on them comfortably. Their alignment is perfect and they're all neatly aligned The room looks much larger now that I have two racks instead of just one! There was only one thing I would have liked to change if they were just 1 inch higher, shoes could be laid on the floor beneath them, too. The bottom shelf is the only place I can fit sandals at the moment. It is possible that I will make cushions for the seating area, but I have yet to decide. The photos as they are look pretty good to me. This purchase has been a great experience for me!.

Putting the table together took me less than 15 minutes. During assembly, there were no problems. I found the instructions adequate, and I was able to align everything on my unit. I like the way it enhances the area, does not overpower it, and serves its There have been several men over 200 pounds who have sat on it to put on their shoes (not simultaneously, obviously), and it doesn't shake or creak. In order to provide enough "landing space" for the posteriors, it does need to be placed an inch or two from the wall. Thank you for your purchase. I was very pleased with it.
This umbrella stand matches an umbrella stand I purchased somewhere else, which is a bonus for me.

The quality of items you order on the internet is always a gamble, until they arrive you have no idea what it will be like. It is exactly what it needs to be, and I am happy with its outcome. Those items may even seem to be better, since we consumers have become accustomed to accepting poorer care. Unlike untreated bamboo or cheap bamboo items, the Bamboo has a nice finish and isn't brittle at all (certainly not like cheap bamboo items). If you are handy with furniture assembly, it was easy to assemble with one person (a little balancing is needed, and you will need to wait until everything is tightened). In the end, everything matched up perfectly, and the table is level and does not rock. As far as I know, it is capable of supporting 200 lbs (no creaking), but I have not tested anything heavier. Cleaning our tiled entryway has been made a lot easier with this item.

The screws are of poor quality because they don't go through enough quality control. The overall product review was negative since the screws keep it together. There was a time when you always got one or two extra screws just in case anything went wrong on your end, but when it goes wrong on their end without sending you extra, I wonder about the quality of the product. It is a well-designed web site, and I enjoy the style. Besides the fact that it does what it is supposed to, I should not have to go to my tool crib to find a screw. I have paid for this, and it is not just about.

It meets my needs. Possibly should be a bit more affordable. Now that you've read other reviews and Can confirm that a few screw openings are not aligned as they should be. There are two pairs of screw holes for each leg. There are two sets of bolt holes for each leg. It was a straightforward matter to loosely mount the legs to the shelves by drilling a screw one screw into the most centered hole of the side-by-side shelves The side of the shelves have a couple of screw holes (it's one screw on each leg). There will be some wobbly parts in the assembly, but that is fine. In the next step, I attached the Leg assembly to the seat by loosely attaching all eight bolts, stood everything upright on a hard, level surface, and then tightened everything up. When that point comes, it ought to be reasonably strong. It might have been an issue if I had installed the last 4 screws in the misaligned holes last. The wood is very soft, so the only possible issue would be to over-install. I would recommend tightening and stripping the wood, which is very simple. As a final product, the piece looks nice, smells nice and is somewhat light in weight. There was enough room for me to fit three pairs of shoes per shelf, but those with large feet or bulky footwear will not be able to accomplish the same feat. I am able to get this to work. Kids or as part of a decor accent, this is great. I was able to sit on it and it was comfortable, but I'm not sure I believe it's rated to be able to bear 300 pounds unless it's centered and unmoving. It is not recommended to sit on this thing if you weigh 300 pounds. Although I enjoy it for the most part, it's definitely something that should have been in the $30 range given its quality.

As I went about putting this together, I noticed that none of the holes lined up with the pre-drilled holes A hole was drilled for a screw. As a result, the bench is weak and unable to support the advertised weight. Although I must admit, after noticing this on the first brace I was assembling, I stopped and checked the other ones as well. They were all just as expected, so I stopped working on the assembly and packed it up to return.

It is a great buy for the money. The item was purchased for my bathroom, and as others have suggested, glue was added to the joints to make it more sturdy. The instructions were easy to follow (pictures), however the tool list states the tools required for assembling are a flat (slotted) head screwdriver and a Phillips (posilock/star) head screwdriver, despite the hardware only being in allen wrench format. Allen wrenches are not included with this kit, so make sure you have one. A cap was found that was 4mm long. We plan on applying a coat of exterior polyurethane to increase the effectiveness of the existing finish and to prevent mold growth. If the environment is wet, it is free. Edit

A coating of table top epoxy was added along with a water well shield. It will take time to tell but I'm positive that the epoxy stiffened things up even more so it should last for a long time.
