Getting this was something I was really looking forward to. My new apartment had limited space, so I had to get creative. I noticed that the main pole would not screw into the base snugly as I assembled it. On closer inspection, I found that the base was ripped. In the end, I just took some wood glue to the coat instead of sending it back since I didn't have room for all of them. I hung my coats on it overnight and I would have sent it back to the store It is a three-legged base that is easily tipped over. Although it has a lot of work on it, I am disappointed with it nonetheless. Two coats hang on each hook as well as a coat on every hook. There is a wide range of weights among coats. There were two heavy coats, the rest were jackets and two raincoats.

I am of the opinion that this is the best hat/coat tree on the market. I like the way it looks, the quality is good- There are many better units at this price point, but this one is hard to beat. When I found this hat tree, I read all the reviews and everyone seemed to agree that this was an outstanding hat tree. It's not often that you find items on Amazon with five stars, so, when I found this one, I read through all the reviews. Yes, I totally The pegs own eight pegs, and I have filled them all, but I still have a few hats left, and I want to have a place for people when they come to visit to hang their coats, so I've ordered.

In this scenario, it appears that you get what you pay for. There is no question that it's sturdy and will do the trick, but the paint has chipped and it smells so bad of paint, chemicals and mustiness that I have it outside for ventilation. There is a nice feature here where you can cut out some parts to make it shorter or taller.

It would have been better if I had given 0 stars. There is no way to build it. As the first step, the three legs are supposed to be attached. However, the groove was cut too shallow, preventing the pieces from fitting together. As soon as I tried hammering into the wood, the wood started to split and I realized I couldn't fit it Despite liking the design and having high hopes for this item, it seems to have malfunctioned, I hope customer service can fix this so that I can actually write a review of a functional item.

It was so easy to assemble that I really enjoyed it. Then all you have to do is screw the sections together (by hand, very simple) in the correct order, and you're done. I've done it. To assemble MAXIMUM, it took me about ten minutes. You might think this is just a typical coat rack, but beware, it's pretty easy to overturn it if you knock it off balance.

As I chose which one of these things to buy on Amazon, I was concerned about its durability. It seemed like the best choice to me, and I did not regret it. It would have been so easy to buy it instead of nailing a coat rack to the wall years ago. The results are much better now. My front door opens up right behind this, so it fits perfectly. Feels and looks like solid wood (I'm not sure if it's real wood, but it feels and looks like real wood). Excellent product. I am very happy with it.

This is the method they used to construct it. There are three letters in the In that sense, it was extremely simple to assemble. There is a problem with the holes, as they were a bit off, so while it is only a 32nd off, each section is off a little more. It isn't really noticeable but it makes sense for the price. It won't be discernible because of some coats and hats over and on it. For this price, you are getting a decent deal.
