My crocheted items will be displayed on this. The priority was to find something with the right size screws, as I was not looking for anything fancy. The problem was that the holes didn't line up, so it took forever to assemble. Furthermore, the filigree on the piece is not matched, so the rods are not oriented levelly. The piece appears uneven and has an uneven taper. Although I did not expect perfection considering the price point, I did expect at least some consistency. I would never purchase this display (afghan/quilt) again, and I would not recommend it to any friends or family members. Get one that is seamless and you can actually put together in a short amount of time.
The assembly only took a few minutes, so it was very easy. All of the components were assembled by me. My initial impression was that the rods weren't long enough for attaching them to the sides, but as soon as I inserted the screws, I pulled them in and held them in place. So it took a bit of arm power to remove the trash, but it was worth it. First, attach the bottom middle trim piece to the sides -- this will make the rest of the assembly easier, since you will only need to pull the sides in a bit to align the screws. Excellent rack. I highly recommend it. Don't hesitate on this purchase. It was a great buy!.
As a result of buying this, I have been able to free up a dresser drawer that contained blankets. Because of the price, I did not expect much. The box was light when it arrived, and after a quick assembly, I was pleasantly surprised with it. Although it wouldn't be the kind of thing I would want to show off in a luxury cabin, for an ordinary house with ordinary furniture, I think it's great. I was able to free up a drawer, and the blankets look nice If I had to describe it, it would be like taking a sip of boxed wine from a plastic cup. It isn't pretty or great looking, nor is it as ugliest as most cocktails, but it is quite good for 35 dollars.
Free shipping did not slow down arrival of the rack. Only complaint is that the bars were not labeled and only one set of screws were labeled - this is not the fault of the product, just the way it was packaged. Neither of the other two had any letters on them they had square stickers. Although there were so few pieces, and the screws and bars were different lengths, putting it together was a straightforward process if you compared the photo instructions to the instructions in the manual. This blanket rack sits in my living room to enable me to hang five blankets on it, and is in plain view for guests who want to borrow This rack is great and I highly recommend it.
Even though this was so reasonable in price, I was skeptical about buying it. I had two from the old Kirkland store that I had just put together and they were not only impossible to put together, but one of them fell apart as soon as it was put together. It was perfect, and I am probably going to buy another one to replace the other kirkland I expect to fail at any moment.
Since I purchased this blanket rack a year and a half ago, I can't imagine life without it. I love how functional and sturdy this piece is, and how it makes my home feel so cozy. There is room for a lot of bedding on this bed, I stack two king size quilts, one twin size quilt, and four knitted throw bedspreads on it. These flowers look so pretty on display next to the couch, and they add a welcoming touch to the room.
There is a lot of poor workmanship in this product. As well as being very cheaply packaged, it is also very poor quality. If you shop on the web you go by reviews, and I was extremely disappointed, especially when so many of the reviews were positive. It is warped when it is put together, and it wobbles when it sits. As far as the price is concerned, the metal is of low quality and the price is too high. It requires additional capital to acquire the product. I tried contacting the company, but they said that they did not make this item. Now I'm stuck with chintzy, cheap looking, wobbly, unsteady whatever you would like to name it. I am so disappointed in you!.
