I found the table top to be pretty solid. In my opinion, this desk top is the best deal around for the price. It is too bad the price was so high. In color and black and white Most things I've bought in the last few years aren't as nice as the pattern. UPDATE

Each week I receive multiple emails from them asking me to take my three star review down This is now a 1 star rating! The shipping problems need to be fixed & I would give this product five stars.

This table top did not look cheap or like thin particle board. My usual policy is to avoid online purchases if I have more than three negative reviews about lackluster quality ("you get what you pay for"), but the price was so low that I didn't want to take that risk. On the left you can see my table set that I bought from Wayfair about 5 years ago. I lived with two other people in that family when I was growing up. We now have a family of three, and my son is old enough to join us at the table. We decided to invest in a new set of dining chairs. The time to buy locally isn't as easy as it used to be during the COVID19 quarantine, so I'm writing this review at the moment. My husband is 6'3 ft tall and didn't want to compromise for a counter height table, therefore I jumped into the online shopping rabbit hole instead. When I started online shopping, I learned that decent sized/quality high top tables are very expensive. Then I looked under our pub table and realized that the top screwed off easily, so why not just buy a new table top that is big enough to replace ours? Would it be any better if we covered the top with marble patterned vinyl to give the illusion that we spent a fortune? My search on Amazon has been revised again, and I entered the measurements I wanted followed by "table top" and this is the first item What if I spent less than $50 compared with the $100 I was going to spend on the exact thing Yeah, a hundred percent! I received the tabletop today (5 days earlier Right. ) pictured above. The fact that it is made well cannot be seen from the outside I found it to be very heavy, thick, and thicker than I expected. In light of the negative reviews, I expected it to be a thin piece of particle board, but it isn't. While the marble wrap has yet to arrive, this is a look my husband and I both really like - In the event we do decide to wrap it with vinyl, I will Whatever the case, I am so happy the search is over for a new table! I bought it online, and it was the best purchase I've ever made!.

This is such a great idea! It's not intended for use as a stove cover, but it will work perfectly for what I need.

The description in the ad says "one pack" but it's unclear what that means. I've searched the ad over and over again but it only refers to the description. In all references to "THE tabletop," "THE" is used. It is true the ad portrays two tops, but that could simply be to indicate the two different laminated finishes. My impression was that it was. Clearly, the advertisement could have been more clear, but I cannot believe I will not use the two tops. While the surfaces are nicely finished, both tops have defects that makes them less than perfect. While the surface defects are not important for my purposes, they can be important for It's not expected that the top and bottom are spotless! Despite our efforts, the delivery was a day late due to unknown reasons. In any case, I would have given this piece a rating of 3 stars, i. e.

I returned it due to the inconvenience, but it wasn't enough to force me to do so. Certainly if they had covered it with bubble wrap or something like that, it would have been in perfect shape. The government didn't comply with that request. I did not secure it to the pedestal base I sat it on since it has a nice weight to it. It held its position even when I did nothing to secure it. If I marr the bottom of the bag, it will no longer be reversible, so I have to figure out how to secure it. It is not uncommon for me to eat at my desk in my home office, which used to be the formal dining table before being converted. I do not share a kitchen or dining room. In my case, there are not that many occasions to entertain, so I decided to use it as a desk because I can always clear it off and return it to the dining room center if I need a place for a crowd to sit. It was important to me not to have to keep clearing off and moving my desk each time I had a guest over for dinner, so I purchased the wooden pedestal to accommodate that need. The table top on the wooden pedestal is also used as a plant stand when the needs arise. I wish I could get it back in one day. The mahogany side will look very nice in my home. It is heavy enough that I don't mind lifting and carrying it, yet light enough for me not to mind lifting and carrying it all the time.
