When I bought it, there was a small chip on the side. I was really disappointed with customer service. I tried to call the company directly, but I was put straight to a voice mail box that was already full. I had to request a replacement and once more found an even bigger chip on the side. They continually returned an error message that "invalid characters were found in my message. " when I tried to contact them through their site. I was very disappointed with the table top because it was so nice except for the damage/defect. Bassett customer service is atrocious, and I won't be buying any of their products ever again. That means we need to find another supplier.
