RiverRidge 06-028 Tall Corner Cabinet, Espresso

This is complete nonsense. Without a doubt, this is the most dreadful furniture I've ever purchased. As screws pushed through pre-drilled holes, assembly became a series of setbacks. The sides of the cabinet were punched out with drilled holes, and the panels were cattywampus pulled into place. br>br>I'm actually impressed at how well these penny pinchers managed to sacrifice quality in every component. br>br>The packaging was shoddy. Almost every panel was dented or had chipped corners when it arrived. Out of the box, this thing appears to be a cheap used item. br>br>Material is the worst I've ever seen in terms of MDF. When I used a damp paper towel to dust it, the color started to fade. The finish was scraped off a few times after the panel number stickers were removed. br>br>There were no instructions. In the misaligned holes, the dowels are frail and strewn about. The cams, which connect the top and bottom halves, began to strip as soon as they were tightened, and the entire unit feels flimsy and loose. Even a few books are unlikely to fit on the shelves. br>br>River Ridge should be ashamed of themselves. It's almost as if it's a crime - This is unlikely to withstand any kind of practical use and will most likely be discarded in two years. I was hoping it would come together and all of my doubts would vanish, but I should have just returned it after opening it.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well this came together. When you buy one of those cabinet/shelving kits, you don't always get high-quality material. br>The screws, wood dowels, and other hardware were of excellent quality. The wood itself is quite nice, and instead of being just a laminate overlay for the color, it smelled like stain (which has since vanished). Although I did not read the measurements and lay them out to see, it is not quite as large as I expected. Because it is made up of two pieces, you should be able to move it easily in the future. It took me about an hour to put together, but I used wood glue on the screws and dowels just to make sure everything was in place. LED accent lights installed in the shelves would most likely look nice. br>br>If you had a bathroom with enough space and a corner to install it in, I think it would be quite nice.

I had been looking for a corner shelf for quite some time and was very excited to find one. It's not only difficult to assemble (I did it without the use of any power tools), but it's also prone to damage, which I expected given the packaging. This product should be packed MUCH better for the money you spend on it! Don't waste your money; if I had the energy to disassemble it, I'd return it, but I'm too proud of what I've accomplished!.

It takes a lot of effort to put together a piece of furniture. Quality is excellent. As expected, it fits perfectly in the corner of my study room. It takes a lot of effort to put everything together. To put the final two pieces together, it took me nearly two hours and my wife had to help with the lift. The shelf itself is useful for saving space, but don't expect to be able to fit a book on it. It's perfect for small trinkets and mementos.

When we first started taking the pieces out of the box, this corner cabinet blew us away. It's usually a hit-or-miss situation when it comes to quality at this price point, but I can assure you that this one is fantastic. It's solid and heavy, with a lovely color. We were expecting particle board pieces, but it didn't come with any! Because it blends in so well and allows us to store items away, the area we put it in now appears to be much larger. I'll definitely keep an eye out for more pieces from this line.

Setting up was extremely difficult. BUT, IF YOU CAN FIGURE IT OUT, IT WILL BE WORTH IT! The "average" person would have a hard time putting this thing together. I'm not the most practical person. And putting it together took me 4 hours. But when it was all said and done, it looked fantastic! The entire structure will be unstable if the pieces are not perfectly aligned. In terms of storage, unless the bib is triangular, it's nearly impossible to fit it inside or on the shelves. That's all right. It's nice to have a couple of picture frames on display.

Part 8 is defective, and I ordered two replacements for part 8, both of which were defective; thankfully, Amazon was willing to let me return it after the 30-day period when I explained how I had worked with the manufacturer. It was important to me that it work out. It appears to be attractive, but it is not structurally sound, and part 8 is always rotten wood on one side.
