The matte black leather and hardware, which I wanted to match my desks, initially drew me to this chair. I was hesitant to spend $200 on a set of these chairs (hi, I'm frugal), but I decided to go ahead and buy them because 1) I'm on an interior design kick, and 2) other similar-looking chairs had customer complaints about uneven leg height or "bubbling" of the leather on the seat. br>br>I've been sitting in this chair for the past month while studying for my medical boards (literally 12 hours per day, every day), and I can say it's great; We purchased two, and they are both adorable and extremely comfortable. The leather is silky smooth, soft, and supple, making it a pleasure to sit on. The chair is extremely sturdy, and all of the legs are the same height, ensuring that the chair does not "rock" as you shift your weight. It's the perfect height for my standard-size desk, and it only took me 5 minutes to assemble. I'd highly recommend them and may purchase a full set of six to replace our dining room chairs! br>br>UPDATE: br>br> Gaps between the chair and the legs have been mentioned in other reviews of this chair. When the legs are worn backwards or incorrectly, this happens! All you have to do now is attach the seat to the legs, which are already assembled. Each chair comes in a single box, with legs in one piece and seats in another. The legs and seat piece, unfortunately, do not fit together well. There are gaps between the legs and the seat on all four of the chairs I received. I took photos of the gaps and posted them on social media. The gaps are large enough that they can be seen from across the room while sitting on my sofa. The second image I posted can be seen here. The distance between the gaps is approximately 1. 2 inches. I'm concerned that sitting on these for an extended period of time will damage the seats because they don't rest on the supporting legs. I would not purchase these again or recommend them to anyone.

The material is not durable. These chairs are making me very sad. They got rave reviews, and they look great. They're also simple to put together and clean, but there's a catch! We haven't even had them for a year and each of the six chairs has a problem with the material coming loose from the chair, causing bubbles and ruining the appearance. Each of my photos shows a different chair, and we had to replace two of them because they were even worse when we first got them. Oh, and don't forget that if you don't keep up with tightening the screws every few weeks to keep the chairs stable, the screws will randomly pop out of the bottom. We had a friend who sat in the chair with some bulky keys in his back pocket, which ripped the chair apart. The chairs also show hand prints like no other, which isn't a deal breaker for me because they're easy to clean, but we do have to wipe them down frequently. To summarize, I would not repeat the experience if given the opportunity.

The chair is extremely comfortable for a day at my desk, and the black leather looks fantastic. It's put together with four small screws and feels very solid once it's done. I would strongly suggest it.

So far, it appears to be sturdy enough. However, I made the mistake of selecting this chair as my desk chair for the 5-year period that I worked in. Every week, six days. This is not a chair you want to sit in for long periods of time without some additional support; I'm under 30 and don't have a history of back pain, but after a week of use, it was really hurting my back. I've since purchased a back support pillow to use with it, which has helped with my posture and back pain a little. I'm still undecided about whether I'll keep it as a desk chair or replace it with something more supportive and comfortable. Before you buy a chair, think about how much time you'll spend in it.

I was skeptical at first, but I needed a chair for a spare room, and my wife is picky about the feel of cloth, so I insisted on leather. I wondered how good this could be and whether it would appear cheap. Was I taken aback! It looks great and appears to be of excellent quality, as well as sturdy and comfortable. Oh, and it came early, and I put it together in under 10 minutes because it was so simple. I have back problems and am very particular about the appearance and design of my entire home, including my bedrooms. This looks great in the bedroom, so I'm thinking about ordering another one for our bedroom so I can have a place to sit while getting ready. It doesn't appear to be cheap. FOR THE LOOKS, COMFORT, QUALITY, PRICE, FAST SHIPPING, AND EASE OF ASSEMBLY, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!.

After putting the chair together, I discovered that one of the brackets connecting the legs to the chair seat was defective/damaged and no longer aligned with the screw hole. As a result, I was unable to complete the chair's assembly and install the fourth screw. If I had a problem, I contacted the product's customer service number, which was provided in the box insert. I was told that their stock was low and that I would have to order from Amazon instead, which was inconvenient and frustrating. br>br>The chair isn't the most comfortable for long periods of time, but I covered it with a sheepskin, which made it much more comfortable. 2 stars because the chair would have been much easier to assemble if all four screws had lined up, and the chair itself is quite nice. Despite the fact that only three of the four screws are in place, my defective chair appears to be sturdy.
