This topper is a great deal for the price, but it's best for a bed with an existing comfort top that's lost some of its pillow top feel. This topper isn't as thick as it appears in professional photos, and it leaves you lying on your old mattress in your pressure points, defeating the purpose entirely. Well-made, super-soft material, and a deep, long-lasting elastic skirt! However, the number is only about 1. From the lower pillow tops side seem to top ribbing, the ribbing is 25" thick. The squares are softer, but they aren't strong enough to support any weight.

I have a really hard bed and can't afford a new one right now, so I knew I needed something to help me stay comfortable before my breast cancer surgery. Of course, this does not transform my mattress into a $1,000 brand-new mattress, but it does make a significant difference. It was dryer fluffed first, and it is extremely soft, almost enveloping your sides in softness when you lie down. My bed is still a brick underneath, but this topper softens it up.

It was a huge let down. I bought this item in the hopes of padding and softening a new mattress we bought that was too hard for us to sleep on comfortably. As it turned out, despite appearing to be well-padded and well-made, this pad only made the bed's surface harder than it was before! We left it on for a few weeks, assuming it would require some 'breaking in' time, but that never happened. I'm still perplexed as to how the pad could make the mattress feel firmer rather than softer, but there you go. It got so bad that sleeping on my side started causing pain in my hip and shoulder, and my bad back became so inflamed that I had to visit my chiropractor several times for treatment. Finally, I gave up, took off the pad, and replaced the mattress with two super cheap twin xl standard foam toppers. THAT WAS SUCCESS! And to think, for only $20, I could have solved the problem. It's too late to return it now, of course. As a result, a mattress pad is on its way to Goodwill.

We love it, so it was well worth the wait! It breathed new life into our old pillow-top mattress. It's very fluffy and comfortable. We didn't want to get out of bed in the morning, so we tossed it in the dryer to fluff it up. So, if you're reading this, believe me when I say you won't be sorry you bought this topper! br>NOTE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED. YET IT'S STILL COMFORTABLE! I was concerned that the fluffiness would vanish, but I was mistaken. The greatest investment I've ever made! (UPDATE 2: 11/27/2019)br> So. It's starting to feel a little flat now. Perhaps it's due to the fact that I have to wash it in such a particular way. Use a washer with no agitator, according to the tag. Oh well. It still makes our bed feel more comfortable. 7th of June, 2020.

Psoriatic Arthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis So basically, I'm in excruciating pain in all of my joints, whereas my husband appears to be in perfect health. br>Because I wanted and needed an extra layer of support and comfort, I did a lot of research to find a good mattress cover. comfort in the back br>If you want to plump up the covers, simply throw them in the dryer. I scrubbed them clean and hung them up to dry. br>But here's the thing: I have an EXTRA large washer that I can use to wash our King size quilt, but the covers were so plump that I could only wash one at a time!! br>br>After we've slept on them, I'll update! *UPDATE

This topper would be fantastic if washing didn't destroy the fluff. I promise we'll get there (if you want to skip ahead, go to "FAST FORWARD"). br>br>I have an adjustable hospital bed with a firm mattress and no box spring (due to the fact that it is adjustable). br>br>While raising it relieves pain (back injury), the hardness causes pain elsewhere (everywhere — LOL). br>br>I bought this topper after hearing good things about it, and it has made my bed so much more comfortable. I was so meticulous in following the instructions to the letter and letting the mattress rest on my bed for a few hours before retiring for the night. br>br>The photos were taken after my first night out; You can see the fluff and compare it to my current mattress. br>br>FAST FORWARD to the day when you'll have to wash your clothes. Oh, my poor, once-fluffy companion! What happened to you? There is a significant difference between the second and third photos. I'm at a loss for what to do next. br>br>I'm at a loss for what to do. Despite the fact that I bought it on sale, I paid $60 for it. I followed the washing and drying instructions to the letter. I'm not sure if Amazon will accept it, and I'm not sure who the manufacturer is. br>br>The only thing I'd change is that I wouldn't tumble dry it on low. I'd dry it in the sun if I could. I'm at a loss for what to do. I'm in such a bad mood right now. 😭.

  As you can see from the video, this is thinner than the comforter on my bed, with two inches of thickness and a one-inch pillow period.

I felt extremely rested when I awoke this morning. It was a huge improvement over my previous mattress topper, which was constantly rolling back and forth like a rotisserie chicken. Highly recommended; you will not be disappointed.
