Some of it may be explained by the fact that some customers and sellers do not speak English as their first language. Reviews for these toppers and comforters have always piqued my interest. To me, descriptions like "it's like sleeping on a cloud" are ridiculous. None of the toppers I've owned, including a featherbed, fit that description, no matter how expensive they were. The customer photos, on the other hand, are very appealing to me. They convey more information about the depth of the topper than words ever could. Another one was returned to Amazon recently. It didn't even come close to resembling the image displayed in the as. So take a chance and hope for the best, but don't forget to use common sense.
The sewn-in fitted sheet is quite large; it would "fit," but not properly. Underneath, there would be a lot of strewn fabric.
It doesn't seem to be cooling at all to me.
For the sake of cleanliness, I had planned to wash it before receiving it. br>When I got it, I was surprised at how full and fluffy it was. I have a large capacity washing machine that could have handled it nicely, but I doubt it would have fit in my dryer, which is just a regular size dryer. That would have meant taking it to the laundry mat, which I didn't want to do, so I left it unwashed on the bed. br>I think it's clean enough with a sheet over it, and I was able to keep all of the fullness that had been lost in the wash.

Okay, here's the deal: I bought this on the spur of the moment after reading the reviews and desperately needing a bed topper. After three years, my old topper was pretty much worn out, thanks to my dog digging into it. This isn't a topper by any stretch of the imagination. If your bed is extremely firm, it will have no effect. I really like the texture and fluffyness of it, but it's more of a topper for one of the foam toppers. This is more of a sinking pillow topper that doesn't quite do the job of concealing the fact that your bed is as hard as a rock - Unfortunately, you can still feel the mattress' firmness.
It's a dream to sit in! It was spotless and on time, and I would recommend it to anyone.
We're using it on top of a Purple (non-pillow top) mattress, and it's a huge improvement! We were used to a pillow top but switched to a Purple Mattress and missed the cushy feeling, so we decided to try this. The quality and feel are fantastic!.
The skirt has a lot of room in it. It tucks very far under my 18" mattress, so it should fit thicker ones as well. There is no sagging or bunching, and everything is perfectly in place. The fabric is very soft (though not cooling), and the underside is cotton rather than the papery material that some toppers have. I've been using it for about ten days now and have yet to notice any flattening - I had to fight a little to get the fitted sheet on because it's so thick! I did notice some loose threading in one corner and a box stitching failure, but the seller agreed to a discount rather than deal with the hassle of a return or exchange. I really like this topper, and I'm happy with the customer service.
I strongly suggest it! If this made a difference, I was very suspicious. Well, it does, and I no longer wake up with sore hips, shoulders, knees, and toes (lol). I wasn't interested in trying to buy another mattress (I went through two in three months at the start of last year because I ordered TWO different PLUSH mattresses and I'm positive I was sent extra firm both times). But that's a different story altogether! Haha. So, after a year, I couldn't stand waking up sore (I'm 5'2" and weigh 105 lbs). My mattress is terrible (despite being brand new) and is SO HARD. This mattress topper has done enough for me to not have to struggle getting comfortable in bed by moving from side to side, to laying on my front, and then back again. It has a fluffy feel to it and almost envelops the rest of your body, relieving pressure on those pressure points. Although I can still tell there's a harda$$ mattress underneath, this topper has made sleeping bearable and even enjoyable. Overall, I'm blown away. And I'd say my cat enjoys it, but she was only looking for attention.
I can't afford a new mattress right now, so this topper has made a significant difference, and I have no complaints for the price of this queen, which was around 70 dollars. It's a perfect fit for my bed. I was blown away by the high quality of this product. 5 out of 5 stars, and I strongly advise you to try it. br>Recent changes: This mattress cover has a special place in my heart. I've been sleeping on this cover for over two weeks now, and it's made such a difference in the comfort of my mattress. Even when I'm exhausted, knowing I'll be snuggled in my bed makes me smile, so it's still a 5 star.
She has arthritis, so comfort is very important to her, and this item exceeded our expectations. We couldn't believe how plush and soft it was right out of the box. She was ecstatic to be in bed!.
A SCAM WITH 4 STARS AND 2 THOUSAND REVIEWS! Because I've had mine for two months, washed it three times, and it's completely FALLING APART in the dryer, I have to assume that most of those people reviewed it almost as soon as they put it on their bed. I'm putting it in the dryer on tumble (as the instructions say) on the lowest heat setting that my dryer allows, and THIS happens! I sewed the first damaged part back together (last photo) because I figured it would be worth it since I had already spent $80 on this item. There were about four people in it. There are 5 rips in it that are not only along the seams; The fabric itself is deteriorating and tearing. I don't think it's worth it for me to fix the corner piece that broke last night. Super disappointed because this was actually quite comfortable when combined with my memory foam topper, but it's a pretty big deal if it can't handle three washes in two months. I would not recommend this product. I'm giving it one star in the hopes of lowering the average rating (and because it deserves it if it can't actually serve its purpose), but I would have given it five stars if this weren't the case.
