This is a reasonably priced product all things considered, and it provides good value for the price. The density of the memory foam was one feature I couldn't find prior to purchase. Regardless of topper or bed thickness, this can make a significant difference in comfort. This isn't a very dense foam in this case. I have several Tempur Pedic products, and if Tempur Pedic is considered the gold standard, this foam is not nearly as dense. In practice, this means you'll sink almost instantly into the foam. The memory foam, on the other hand, will almost instantly recover. This does provide some cushion, especially when used on top of a mattress, as it was intended. If you lied down on this topper on the floor, you would immediately hit the floor's bottom; however, this is a topper, not a mattress. A Tempur Pedic, on the other hand, will keep you floating above the ground. This is, once again, a problem of density. Also, this product costs a fraction of what a Tempur Pedic topper would. I usually do my research before making a purchase, but I was in a hurry and decided to take a chance on LUCID after a quick look. There aren't many reviews for this product yet, and there aren't any negative reviews (at least not yet). LUCID offers excellent packaging. It comes in a small box that you "unroll" and allow to expand; the packaging even includes a cutter to help you open up your mattress (nice touch)! The instructions are excellent, and the product is backed by a three-year guarantee. The topper is slightly larger than my Queen size bed (which I don't mind), but it's something to keep in mind if you don't have deep pocket sheets. Although the topper should be allowed to air and expand for 48 hours, it was ready to use within an hour of opening the box. Although the product has the plastic odor that all memory foam products have, I found it to be less overpowering than many other brands. It's interesting to try the lavender infusion. I'm a man, so "Lavender Fest" was the last thing on my mind. Although this may disappoint some, I find the lavender scent to be mild and soothing- It's a good thing, too! I don't have any information on how long the odor will last, but the product is "sticky. " It's not a particularly pleasant sensation, but you'll cover it with sheets, and the sticky nature of the material will keep it from shifting too much on the mattress. I'm not sure what "ventilation" adds to the equation. This topper gives me a warm feeling, but not too much. This is a side effect of memory foam, and as someone who has used these products before, I can tell you that gel won't always solve the problem. This product does not contain gel, nor is it required in this case because the temperature is not excessively hot (not that gel would be useful if the temperature were excessively hot). I'll give this product two thumbs up in general. The Value to Cost Ratio is primarily responsible for this. This isn't a high-end mattress topper--in fact, it's far from it. It's also less than a quarter of the cost of a top-of-the-line mattress topper, and it comes with a lot of useful features. The lavender is a distinguishing feature. I've seen charcoal infused lavender before, but this is the first time I've seen it. This topper is a cost-effective way to improve your sleeping comfort.

Since August of 2018, he has been in bed. It's so gentle, with just a hint of lavender. I would have given it five stars if I could. Today, however, I had to wash the padded mattress cover that I had placed over the original cover. It's absolutely fantastic. There are several small rips and about 12 inches of fabric. It's only been a little more than three months since I've had it. It is occupied by only one man. What's the point of spending all that money if it's only going to last four months? The foam mattress was completely ripped apart. br>I'm dissatisfied with the situation.
