As far as I am concerned, I could mount mine on Initially I considered doing that with mine, but I decided instead to attach it to the bed, allowing me to change the arrangement of the room as needed.
In that case, yes, it works with metal frames. As for the smart base, I purchased it together with the zinc brackets. Despite its lightweight and adjustability, the headboard is a pretty solid piece of furniture. I removed the screws already in the headboard the way I liked them. The headboard came with screws already installed, so I unplugged to adjust it. It will take you about ten minutes to put it together. I got it for my 16-year-old son and he loves it!
The queen was bought by me. I bought the frame from another retailer, which was the right size for my queen sized bed. you could use it regardless of the brand of your frame, as long as it has the brackets that have holes to attach the headboard to it.

The process of assembling it was very simple. In addition to the Zinus bed frame, we bought this headboard. There is no way to attach it to our Zinus bed frame. Therefore, that was annoying. However, we were able to live with it. Several months after having it, I started getting big bites in the middle of the night. Our efforts to change sheets, vacuum, and clean everything around the bed did not yield any result, so we pulled the bed frame from the wall and found bugs crawling out of the headboard. It was an awful infestation. Not a trace of these hugs was found anywhere but on the headboard. The whole thing is revolting. We tossed it in the trash, and $100 went This is a bad headboard. Do not purchase it.
By not purchasing this headboard, you will be saving yourself tons of money by not having to treat an entire room/house for bedbugs. I posted a review, but it does not appear. In the future, I will keep posting reviews to let people know that they shouldn't order from this site. the item only after I read the good reviews, so I have to take responsibility for that one. I wish I had read ALL the reviews, because if I had, I never would have purchased this headboard. It arrived and I let it sit in its plastic for nearly a week because I didn't have the time to assemble it We attached it to my husband a few weeks later, and two weeks after that we began getting bites. The headboard never exhibited any problem prior to us inspecting it. And sure enough, there were bugs on it! As a result, it was quickly discarded and we now must purchase mattress covers, bug dust, spray, etc. in order to properly treat the entire room and reside in a safe environment throughout It will save you lots of money and stress if you read this. In light of the other 1 star reviews, I believe that the location where these products are stored are infested.
It was purchased in order to go with the Zinus metal queen bed frame (of the same size), but it was not compatible with it. The screws in the headboard were too large, and the head board screw holes on the metal frame did not line up with the headboard screw holes.
According to the description, it looked just like it did in the photo. I was given a step-by-step guide which contained all the necessary steps, but in reality, I’m not sure how we were ever able to assemble it in any way that would prevent it from wobbling and loudly knocking In just a few hours after installing the headboard, I began to suffer from what I thought were hives. The bites were caused by bed bugs. We had a full bed bug infestation on the backing of our headboard. Bed bugs were living in the screw holes and little white eggs covered the blackbacking. As soon as we received the item, we threw it Even after inspecting the rest of the bed and room, we were unable to find them anywhere else. It is our first time experiencing bed bugs. In my opinion, bed bugs had at least laid their eggs on the headboard. It is at your own risk to purchase!.
It is very well made and is not difficult to attach to the Zinus platform that I have and will likely work with other frames as well. It is recommended if you are looking for a quality product at an affordable price.
It took me a while to decide whether to order this headboard. I had looked plain and simple on the internet, but I wasn't sure that it would fulfill the requirements I had set. Years ago, I bought a headboard on Amazon that everyone I showed it to was impressed with it. I may add that my surprise was not ready for what I saw when I opened the box when it arrived earlier than expected. In addition to being plain and simple, which is exactly what I was looking for, it also looks smart and is very sturdy. I am impressed that the legs are made of metal, which adds to its longevity and sturdiness. As far as value for money was concerned, this was an outstanding purchase.
Before ordering, make sure you look over the upholstery thoroughly. A nice RADIUS CURVE PADDED side by side vertical edge was found on mine, with a FLAT HARD vertical edge on the right. If you're repackaging, reshipping or putting in a truck or SUV, be sure you're in the right line of business before you jump in. It is the company's goal to make you happy, but it will not inspect or look at the replacement product that is sent to you. Before a replacement is sent, there is no checking of its quality. Transfer to Amazon in the future. A complete crapshoot.
The legs were inserted inside a notch in the back of the headboard and the hardware bag was attached to it, so the headboard was well packaged. A genius idea. Should you not like the scallops on the top of the headboard, you can flip it upside down to get a straight edge. As a matter of fact, I purchased another due to its great design. The process of assembling it was very simple.
