There are no drawbacks at all. br>It arrived much sooner than I had anticipated. I wanted something different than the standard gray upholstered headboards, which can cost upwards of $400 in some cases. br>br>It did everything it said it would! The cost was unbelievable, and it only took 5 minutes to put up. It serves as the room's centerpiece.

But, to cut a long story short, it brought bugs with it: I saw a bug on the headboard that crawled under the velcro, so I undid the strap, and a swarm of tiny crawly bugs swarmed all over the place. I had one crawling in my bed and cleaned my room thoroughly to ensure that I did not sleep with bugs, even washing my pillow, only to have to do it all over again after discovering their nest outside, which I have sprayed with bug killer and will not use again. OMG. I've purchased a lot of things from Amazon over the years, and this is the first time I've had bugs that reproduce quickly. We kept finding these bugs over time, but couldn't figure out where they came from- I couldn't find them until I undid the velcro. I have no idea what kind of bugs they are, but they are covered in blood when you smash them. I'd like to be reimbursed for this, and I'll go shopping for a new headboard, perhaps one made of wood. I'm mostly disappointed because I had high hopes of hanging pictures of my new grandchild on the headboard, and now I feel like I squandered $150.

Our bed has a reclining base that can be adjusted as needed. We struggled to find a headboard that worked with our electric base. This was a brilliant idea. We can recline our bed however we want without having to worry about the headboard because it is mounted on the wall.

Oh, how I adore how this headboard fulfills all of my irrational desires to finish my bed and create a room that is somewhere between minimalist and decorated. It couldn't be too plain or fussy, too masculine or (worse) frilly, because that's not what I wanted. As my tastes, moods, and seasons change, I need to be able to add a touch of frill, plush softness, or a splash of color to my overall look. This is my home's serenity room, and with the cushion mounted on the wall, it's a great place to meditate. All of that is possible with this headboard, which is a nice complement to a few feminine touches or can obviously go ultra masculine by emphasizing the leather or iron. The leather-like appearance is created by a fabric that is soft to the touch rather than being made of plastic. It has the feel of vinyl. ** Please take note of Patricia's (reviewer on January 10, 2021) special mention in this regard. utilizing a total of eight screw covers - Now that you're aware of them, they're a must-have. They're absolutely stunning - The snaps on the strops are almost identical in size, and they are difficult to replace after installation. It's best to order these to ship from somewhere as soon as you order the headboard. (**Trust me, you'll save a day of driving around town looking for them locally, even if the website says they're in stock near you. ) ) And, yes, it's very easy to set up if you follow their instructions - This from someone who has had a lot of "failures" with wall anchors. This isn't the case!.

I prefer pieces that are simple and modern. Because I'm not a big fan of tufted headboards, this faux leather one was ideal for my space. It's unlike anything I've ever seen in a headboard. It adds personality while maintaining a minimalist aesthetic. I haven't hung mine yet because I'm still deciding where I want my bed to go. The headboard is a beautiful color that appears to be leather from a distance.

The reason for this is that instead of just screwing/anchoring the bar to the wall, you can also screw/anchor the lower portions of the straps to the wall. If you don't want to use the bar, you can also install the headboard without it. The directions that come with the package are excellent. I wouldn't recommend this for people who like to rearrange their bedrooms frequently, unless you also enjoy patching/repainting holes and re-arranging furniture. br>br>Like any "mounted to the wall" headboard, I wouldn't recommend it for people who enjoy patching/repainting holes and re-arranging furniture. Install as often as you like and as much as you like rearranging. )br>br>In addition, the price is reasonable for what you get. My only complaint with this headboard is that dust collects and is easily visible on the black bar, so I have to clean it more frequently than I'd like. br>br>I can't comment on how easy it is to clean the material because I haven't had to do so yet. If I ever have to spot clean it, I'll update my review.
