The answer is yes. It is very easy to remove this upholstery panel by removing its screws. don't know what they did to the padding, but I believe they glued the upholstery to it. My plan is to cover the old upholstery without removing it first, so instead of removing the old material, I will add the new to the old.

The headboard being reviewed here is the Zinus Banded Grey headboard in twin size. The fabric portion of the Zinus headboard is exceptionally soft. Since I have a Zinus bedframe, I should have one too. The foresight on my part allowed me to purchase brackets in advance. Be sure to check if you need any You do not need brackets when you purchase this set it is already equipped with all of the hardware There are a few things that could be improved. You will need to pay attention to the gap in between your mattress and base if your mattress isn't at least 8 inches tall. It's not the construction per se that is wrong, it's the dimensions that are a little Approximately one centimeter of one side of the headboard is mounted flush to the bracket, but about one centimeter of the other side is Installation was made difficult on this side. If you do not have much space, it could possibly be a problem. Last but not least, there will be a tiny gap between the headboard and the wall when you push your bed against it. I purchased this last night, thinking I would be able to correct a bad haircut So I'm using this as a temporary headboard until I find a real one. After opening the box, I realized I had to tighten the last screw before attaching the headboard to the bed. In less than twenty minutes, I was able to assemble the headboard by myself. I like the way the headboard looks and how solid it is. Due to the fact that the headboard does not come with mounting brackets for me to attach it to the Zinius bed frame, as well as the headboard, I cannot tell you how it looks once it is attached to your bed. My plan was to order brackets for my headboard and bed frame, but I could not see anything on the product page informing me that the headboard does not include brackets and the bed frame does not include How could it be otherwise? We don't need to be confused about that. The extra $12 is now due, along with a few more days of waiting. And, don't tell me to look at the comments - I don't want to know what they have to say. There is disagreement in the comments about whether the extra brackets were needed.
I recently purchased a purple mattress and base and was looking for a new headboard because I have upgraded from a queen bed to a king. A modern headboard is a nice addition to my room, and it goes well with the overall look of it. As far as the packaging and construction is concerned, the frame seems to be of good quality. Using a drill/driver to drive the small bolts into my frame instead of the supplied allen wrench, I completed the assembly and installation of my bed frame in less than 15 minutes.
At the time of my purchase, there was only one review, but I'm so glad I decided to buy this headboard. I love the fact that it's all metal and not cheap wood like I've seen so many times. I am hoping to purchase this headboard again in the future. It has a very thick cushion on the headboard as well. The price of this is really too good to be true. attached it to my bed frame with Zinus connectors that I purchased. Connectors in this category came with a tool to ratchet hex bolts, which made installation extremely straightforward. If you were to install it with a standard hex bolt tool, it would take longer (not harder). It is even better with a screw gun. Two times a year I expect to tighten these bolt-together, but it is nothing major.
The frames look great, and the cushions are thicker than I expected, which is surprising considering how thin the metal frame is. The top of the frame hits the wall when you lean against it, which was one of my complaints, but I stuck a couple of furniture slider pads (from the dollar store) on it and haven't had any sound issues. As you can see from the second picture, I added the pad to the left. In the upper right (next to assembly 5) and in the upper left It is located in the middle of the back of the headboard.
I think this is pretty good for the overall effect.
In addition to all of the hardware and SIMPLE instructions, the headboard came beautifully packaged. You DO NOT need any additional tools to assemble it, and it takes about 10 minutes. Thanks a lot! With a heavy duty aluminum frame and a nice padded area made with quality material and solid seams, this is a very nice chair.
