Yes, a damp cloth can be used. I use Weiman leather wipes to give it a nice, slightly glossy finish.
Yes, there are a couple of exclusions: (1) Eastern King refers to a bed that is 6'4" wide and 6'8" long, rather than a California King that is 6' wide and 7' long. (2) Steel bed frames typically have horizontally slotted holes for headboard mounting because the frame has an adjustable width to accommodate foundations that aren't precisely sized, padded edges, and so on. The length of the slotted holes in the steel corner should be enough to accommodate the variation in foundation and headboard, but it's possible to set the adjustable frame width an inch or two wider than needed to make it easier to put an idea than usual foundation on it. Larger corners and longer holes are available in frames. Making a small adapter to change the hole spacing is another option. Either a pre-existing condition or one that hasn't been addressed. With similar effort, a punched 1/8" thick steel flat bar or a short piece of hardwood 1x4 and tee nuts will work. Cutting a steel flat bar without ruining multiple blades requires a little oil and patience, whether using a power tool or one of the traditional cordless (Armstrong) saws.
The headboard, I believe, will function properly. There are several height options. Approximate size of padded headboard piece: 22 1/2 inches in length The length of the legs is 39 inches. The leg attachment to the head board has an 8-hole height adjustment system, with the first hole 2 1/2 inches from the top and the remaining 7 holes lower. The lower part of the legs has an approximate length of approx. To connect to the bedframe, there is a 4-inch slot. So the crucial question for you is whether or not your platform bed comes with pre-attached headboards. To connect the legs to the platform, a slot must be cut. There are a variety of height options available, and it's very simple to put together.

I'm using it in conjunction with a bed frame that can be adjusted. It really works. The color is a true white, and the hardware for attaching the legs is of good quality. It is possible to adjust the height of the chair up or down. Bolts were included for attaching to a bed frame if the wall was not available. There are no instructions included, but it's fairly simple to figure out.
For the price, the construction quality is excellent, and the width is ideal for queen-sized beds. The color is a dark brown that goes well with the espresso nightstand I bought on Amazon (it was easy to put together and there are multiple heights you can fasten the headboard to the frame so the bottom lines up with the top of your mattress). Because we purchased a pillow top mattress for that room, the headboard had to be raised to the next level. We loved it so much that we bought the white version for our master bedroom.
This was recommended to me based on my previous purchase of a Zinus bedframe. It didn't fit, but I worked around it because returning it would have been a pain - It was not possible to recycle the packaging. Amazon's suggestions are not to be trusted. It is preferable to inquire directly with the manufacturer about bedframe compatibility.
It is a perfect fit. It was exactly what I expected. It's a great fit and a great look! I carried it off the porch and hung it on my own. Anyone would benefit from using this product.
I started getting bitten shortly after unpacking and attaching the headboard to my bed. I don't have any pets, including a dog. I had to fumigate my apartment after throwing out the headboard. I wish I could give it a 0 out of 5 star rating. I'll never buy furniture from Amazon ever again! If you're looking for a unique way to.
I was looking for a padded headboard with no buttons that wouldn't stain from hair products (no fabric, upholstery, etc. ) so leather, pleather, vinyl, etc. , and this one was almost perfect. br>br>Rather than try to attach it to my new Olee bed frame (B01C8PIVKU) using Zinus universal headboard brackets (B0142WKA10), I decided to mount it directly to the wall using four (4) self-sticking screws. Longer screws and fender washers are used to drill sheetrock anchors (as shown in the photo). br>br>The headboard's legs had enough "give" (flexibility) that the bottom could touch the floor and bend past the baseboard while remaining flush against the wall where the screws were anchored. br>br>The "almost" in my headline comes from the fact that the "brown" is an unusual shade of brown (at least to me), hence the four stars.
This headboard arrived in good condition, complete with all of the necessary screws for installation on my bedframe. My frame is standard metal, but it also came with longer screws in case you wanted to attach it to a wood/box frame. I did tape two folded washcloths to the legs behind the headboard to fill in the gap between the wall and the headboard that my baseboard creates, so that when you lean against it, it doesn't push back the 1/2 inch and damage the sheetrock. My room has a great look to it; It was exactly what I had envisioned and took me about 30 minutes to install (all by myself).
To attach to your metal bed frame, you'll need additional hardware. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase, as well as the low cost and free shipping!.
