What chemicals are in this product that could be ?

There are no ideas in my head. But I am sensitive to off gases from new products and I did not smell anything and did not have any reactions to this one. It hasn't affected me in any way both times I have bought it.

Neither the headboard nor its fabric give off any odor

It wasn't ordered in blue, so I have no idea why they think it should be blue.

I purchased these headboards three and a half months ago and they are still taking time to degas. The windows to the bedroom were left open for three months and a ceiling fan ran the entire time. I sprayed the fabrics with Fabreeze fabric refresher over and over again. Fabreeze reduced the chemical odor from the fabric for a short while, but it returned after a short time after wearing off. Online shopping for fabric upholstered items will never again be an option for me.

This headboard looks very upscale. I attached it to a metal frame, and used a bedskirt to give the whole thing a very elegant look. Featuring a soft blue color with a touch of grey, the headboard is beautiful. It feels nice and the upholstery is clean. The velvet makes it feel luxurious. Those assembled will find assembly straightforward, and they will be able to pick the headboard height they prefer. Due to the height of my bed frame, this was extremely helpful to me. Basically any headboard will fit into a metal frame, but the only problem was attaching the slots to the headboard. As is often the case with headboards, the lines of the pieces did not align. It would have been possible to use various adapters to achieve our goal, but we chose to drill holes in the headboard. That is not something I recommend We smelled a burning smell from the holes in the legs, which are some kind of composite of wood and other materials. It isn't the fault of the product that I drilled holes into the product. I don't take a star off because I have chosen to drill holes into the product.

They look great and I'm pleased with them. We struggled to choose between these two, but this was by far our best option. The design is super pretty and the quality is excellent.

It took me no time at all to put it together. There is really something light blue about it. It seems like the picture might have a hint of teal, but it doesn't. The color schemes in my room are blue and teal, so it didn't matter which way I slept. Despite being disappointed, I am not upset.

I love how plush it is! I researched DIY techniques and worked out the costs of fabric and foam, but the price for the headboard I purchased ended up being WAY less than making it myself, plus I didn't have to deal with a lot of headaches
