It seems to me that anyone who claims to have bedbugs should have Amazon, Overstock, or whoever purchased it investigated immediately, and a complaint made to whatever entity the bedbugs originated from. The problem is- The fact that this 'bed bug' thing is true cannot possibly be known for sure- Even though some of the 'reviews' had nothing to do with bedbugs, which would be the most important part of any review, the titles did not convey this point clearly -- We need to check the supply chain, take the item off sale, and conduct a full investigation if it was the case- and if it was, we need to follow up with the supply chain. Because Amazon does that, you should be cautious when reading these product reviews since sometimes they can be true, or they can be lies, or somewhere in between. It could well be that it is because of the way the person lives already, and it may come from their own life- I think Amazon should have a team go out and examine these pieces -- it doesn't matter if it's just an employee of the company or not. The issue at hand is not trivial in any way. As for the review itself, I bought this for my nana and it is freaking beautiful. It came in a box wrapped in plastic and came in brand new perfect packaging. But other than that, this review is not appropriate for posting on here. Formal investigation is needed because this type of sale cannot be made if the possibility that something like this is true even exists.
The fabric seems like it wouldn't allow this because it's all woven together. The paint I used did not leave any scratches on my wall after I placed it against it.

It wasn't possible to kill the eggs from the manufacturer with vacuums or steam, so they kept sticking back into the holes. The idea that a brand new headboard would have bed bugs seems absurd to me!.
