Is there a specific type of screw required? Mine did not come with the kit. ?

Screws aren't used to hold the extensions in place. They simply slide into place on top of the upright.

This is a ruthless firm. These should, in my opinion, come standard with the entire cabinet. It's just a bunch of screws and some plastic. It's only to pad the company's coffers that they're being sold separately.

I was let down

All four screws appeared to be Philips, but they were all stripped when they arrived on time. Returns and repackaging without quality control are most likely. In addition, rather than charging extra, the manufacturer should include leg extensions. There is no such thing as a standard toilet nowadays, regardless of how you measure it.

Take a measurement of the width of the legs of whatever you're going to use them for

The day was saved thanks to these extensions! The bottom shelf of the cabinet was directly over an outlet when we went to install it over the toilet. I couldn't believe what I was hearing! I ordered these extensions as soon as I saw them. We had to sand the bottoms of our cabinet legs to fit in the slots of the extensions because they were 12" wide and we needed about 5/8" wide, but after that and a little pounding to get them in, they are perfect! They truly saved the day! We needed the entire 4", so we used both extensions.

I agree with the other reviews that these items should be included with the cabinet. It's ridiculous that after paying for the cabinet, I had to go through so many hoops to get the extensions. Furthermore, despite the fact that screws are clearly visible in the image advertising these items, mine did not come with them. It was very unstable without the legs connected to the feet because I couldn't find screws that were the right size for the feet and the extension leg itself. I ended up not using the feet and just using the legs. That's how it gets the job done, but I wish the feet were attached.

It didn't fit the way it was supposed to

The leg extensions were delivered in two parts. The bottom piece had a slot in it to fit the upright, but the slot was too narrow to fit, so it had to be used alone. I wanted the entire piece to elevate the cabinet. It's a good thing the one bottom piece raised it just enough to work, because otherwise the entire cabinet would have been a waste.

It's simple to put together, but it's also simple to take apart. One feature I like about it is that it's made of plastic, which will protect the footings of my bathroom storage closet from water damage, which destroyed the old one and caused it to lose its balance.

It accomplishes the task at hand, but not particularly well

It provided the necessary height to clear the tank, which was beneficial. The screws that connect the base to the extension are too big to screw in properly without stripping the head, so they're barely in there. The unit is simply supported by these extenders. It is not possible to connect to the unit. It still feels shaky, but I'm confident it will be fine.

It's well worth the money

These will protect the unit's bottom from being damaged by wet floors. It's made of rubber. That's ideal for a shower that's only a few inches away from the floor.
