Kings Brand Furniture - December 2020br>This is a review for Kings Brand Furniture - December 2020. Tall Bathroom Storage Cabinet - Newberry White Linen Tower, not to be used as an over-the-toilet cabinet. br>br>We put the unit together two days ago and ran into a significant VOC-related problem. while doing so, such as a (Volatile Organic Compound) odor emanating from the unit and/or its packaging Except for the VOC-emissions, the assembly went very smoothly, and we are very pleased with the unit itself. It emits an odor, for example. The odor persisted even after the packaging was removed and the unit was moved to the bathroom. We realized a day after assembling the unit that we would not have bought it if we had known about the odor. We also moved the unit out of our house and into our storage shed at that time, in the hopes of eradicating the source of the odor. We'll be able to bring the unit back into the house once the gas has been turned off. If anyone reading this knows where the VOCs come from, please let me know. Please leave a comment, similar to what odor has done. We would have given this unit five stars if it weren't for the odor problem, which drops it to one. br>br>Update, May 2021br>The unit has been in the storage shed since December of last year. We had hoped that after 5 months, the odor would go away, but it hasn't. Despite the fact that we had assembled the unit, we should have returned it to Amazon in December. Even though the return window has closed, we'd prefer to send it back to Amazon right now.
Although the instructions stated that it should be assembled by two people, I was anxious and didn't have a second person available at the time. I would strongly advise you to anchor the piece to the wall! We hadn't yet had it anchored to the wall (as I had requested, and was still waiting for someone to come do it), and the whole thing toppled over as my son was closing the cabinet (and he claimed he didn't use excessive force). The piece broke in several places, and other items on top and inside of it also broke, so I simply had to order a replacement, and I'll now have to replace the other broken items as well. Asking someone to come earlier to anchor the piece to the wall with the enclosed supports would have been a lot less trouble (not to mention a lot less expensive). Make sure you don't make the same error I did. Fix the artwork to the wall. Fortunately, no one was hurt in my case.
Our small bathrooms are compensated for by this lovely cabinet. I purchased one of these and found it to be ideal for storing medications, personal items, and towels/washcloths. I liked the first one so much that I bought another. The symmetry is absolutely perfect. It comes highly recommended!.
I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of space available. This is a very attractive piece.
All of the bolts and screws were of good quality metal, and extras were included in case they were needed. All of the holes were in the same place. All of the pieces were free of scuffs and dings. This is an excellent storage piece, especially considering the price.
