My purchase has left me extremely dissatisfied. I purchased two dividers, both of which had open spaces between the materials, dry glue blobs in several spots in each panel, and the wood from the frame was visible through the screens. I didn't return them because I needed them right away, but I did paint them all to hide the flaws. Furthermore, the factory's warranty stated that if the item is returned, the buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs, which I do not believe should be the case given that the product is defective.
I rarely write reviews, but it was difficult to find the right divider for my living room. The color is nice, but there are a few things that aren't quite right. There are a few chippings in the corners because it's made to look like wood. And the final fold isn't even, so it swings by itself when I stand it up. The divider is uneven because it barely touches the floor. Because the wood was visible and detracted from the black design, I had to spray paint a few spots. I mean, it does the job for the price. All I want is for it to be level.
It's still working perfectly. For the past month, I've been using it every day. Because I work from home and use this as a background for video calls, the volume fluctuates a lot. There are no problems with the panels, the hinges are in good working order, and nothing has become loose anywhere after a lot of opening and closing. For a privacy wall, this is an excellent price.
Because the room is only used for guests a few times a year, an expensive option was out of the question. This is perfect! It's tall enough to provide privacy and wide enough for a double-width open casement "doorway. " For the price, this is actually very good quality!! Is it up to the same standards as a $300? What's with the 00? No way! No, the quality does not give you the impression of a low-quality item. That is not the case. There are some "imperfections," but they are more typical of the material and style in question. This purchase has made me extremely happy!.
What you should know: br>Does it have a good balance on its own? It will only fall easily if it is slightly "accordioned," but not if it is completely straightened. Does it do a good job of segregation? I have it covering an archway leaning against the wall because it would otherwise fall over. br>Does it do a good job of segregation? Yes, if you have a small corner in a room that you want to make extra private by putting up a psuedo wall. br>br>What am I going to do with it? br>Because I don't have a door, I use it to close off a large archway that leads to my room. When I'm not doing that, it serves as a great plain black background for shooting youtube videos with my camera, blocking out the distracting background of my room and obscuring passers-by.
divider of costs When the sun shines on that side of the house, I needed something to put between my computer desk and the large window. This is effective. It's light enough to be folded away by one person when not in use. There are cracks between the panels, as with all dividers, but it's simple to cover them with a sheet or something else to keep the light out. This allows me to use my computer during the day, which is ideal for me.
This is a screen that I like. I bought it because I occasionally need to turn a corner of a living room into a semi-private sleeping area. When not in use, this screen folds up and tucks out of the way, making it surprisingly light for its size. When fully extended, it forms a long and tall "wall" that effectively blocks ambient light. I was also pleased with the weave pattern, which is appealing and complements the rest of the space well. However, I didn't give it five stars because it's poorly constructed, and I'm not sure how long it'll last, especially in the presence of children and pets. We'll have to wait and see.
We're going to order another one for a different room.
