PERFECT! It completed the task that I requested. I'm a female, so I need to be extremely light. I wanted to cry when I saw the size of the boxes. There will be no need for assembly, and it will be EASY to transport! Because I was temporarily changing offices, I had to cram everything into my dining room. I purchased two so that the entire entrance would be covered.
I recently moved into an apartment with a large living room, where I set up my computer and work desk. I needed a way to partition the room and keep the computer hidden. As soon as I saw these Japanese room dividers, I knew I had to have them. I use them on thick plus carpet and they stand up fine as long as you don't set them up fully extended by folding them in a bit. I was surprised to learn that the material used is cloth rather than paper; it appears to be sturdy to me. The colors of the plum blossoms on it are also lovely. They look lovely lit up when I walk out of my living room and turn on the light at my computer. The wood is a lot more durable than I anticipated. These are beautiful room dividers that I would recommend to anyone looking for one.
It is not intended for children to play with and will not be animal-friendly. So I'll cross my fingers that the little ones in my life, as well as the house's many cats, stay away from it. br>br>Having said that, it's exactly as pictured, the panel frames are very sturdy, it stands up straight without issue, and I love the pattern. Now I'm wishing I'd ordered red curtains because this would look great with them, but I think the navy ones on the way will work just fine. I was worried it'd be too obvious. However, it effectively blocks off the corner shelf wall and allows light to pass through, rather than sight.
From afar, everything appears to be in order. The wood is not sanded to softness, and it feels very prickly. It gets the job done, is true to size, and looks exactly like the picture. It can tip over for the tiniest of reasons, so if you put it somewhere where it won't be touched, you'll be fine! It appears to be poorly constructed and is being sold at an exorbitant price. These are quite nice for the price, especially when compared to those that cost a lot more. Don't do it. They're sharp, with a crisp appearance and brightly colored accents. At first glance, the fabric appears to be rice parchment. I'm hoping it's not too delicate - The only way to know is to wait and see. The minor drawbacks will now be discussed. One of the panel's long edges was bowed to the point where it harmed both appearance and functionality. I attempted to contact the manufacturer through the seller (Amazon), but the lame "customer service" app wasted my time by jumping to erroneous conclusions before redirecting me to a very slow chat agent (probably multiple chats) who told me I needed to return it in order to receive a full refund. As if my comments were merely scanned for keywords rather than being read. I wasn't looking for a freebie; instead, I wanted to avoid having to pay for something I already had. It won't fit in my car, and I can't afford to wait for UPS to deliver it. Without having to contact anyone, I could have easily set that up. The app gets 0 stars, and the agent gets 0 stars. It appears that I'll be stuck with the crooked display. Look at the images below.
It appears that this is the case. This was purchased as a present for someone else. It appears to be of reasonable quality, though the wood frame on one panel has some minor warping, which does not detract from my rating. The panels are made of a thin fabric material rather than rice paper.
The product is much nicer than I anticipated, and it has proven to be far more useful than I anticipated. We've used it as a room divider and discovered that it also makes a great backdrop for business photos! This is a vendor from whom I would definitely buy more items.
