I have updated We have had this pitcher for 9 months and it still works the same as when we got it. So far, I have changed the filters three times. The product was purchased directly from the company. So far, so good. I recommend this 100 times over Britta. My first water filter was a Britta faucet filter (a piece of garbage) followed by a Pur pitcher (also garbage). As far as I'm concerned, this is the best water filter pitcher I've used. It tastes great when you drink water.
