Questions & Answers

The filter size of this pitcher will work with it. ?

Is it true that all brands of brita filters will fit in the same pitcher regardless

Are there any mini fridges that fit this?

I think it's about nine o'clock The height of this person is about 10-inches The diameter from handle to spout is about 3 inches and the length will be about 4 inches. I don't have a mini fridge, and even if I did, I imagine they would all be different inside. However, if your fridge is like most I've seen, you should be able to take out the shelf and put in a little drawer. In that case, it would probably be appropriate. Pouring a glass with a lid on does it stay closed?

There is no problem with the lid sticking to the bottle This product has been very satisfactory for me.

When I use the 5 cup metro pitcher, how do I get the reservoir out?

Thanks for visiting! Please accept our apologies for the problem, and we would like to offer you a few tips. It is recommended that two hands be used in order to lift the reservoir evenly from Put it on the counter for a few hours to come back to room temperature if that does not work. Because the tank expands as the water warms up, allowing the reservoir to be slightly looser, it allows the tank to expand slightly. If you're having trouble removing the reservoir, you can also place your finger between the reservoir and the pitcher at the spout area. Metals are only removed when a certain process is used
3/5

As a result of filtration, I measured the TDS (total dissolved solids). The EPA maintains the same standard as the unfiltered tap water (*150ppm). Upon calling Britta Tech Support, I was informed that the product only removes chlorine and metals like copper, the rest of the things left behind are chlorine and weed. What I expected wasn't what I got.

The best pitcher in the league You will need to read the directions
5/5

If you are using this pitcher for the first time, read the directions.

I found an old Brita and wanted to upgrade It was too old for me to know what it was made from and I wanted one not made from BPA. As we previously mentioned, the newer model is nicer looking than the old white boxy one. Several negative reviews were left by previous buyers, which I would like to address in order not to scare off other potential buyers. Cannot find a filter that fits? A filter needs to be oriented a specific way in order to prevent the water from flowing through I found my filter to be the perfect fit. During the initial setting up, you also need to run cold water through the filter (according to the instructions). A clean pitcher must be used before it can be used. Despite my best attempts, I was unable to get the fill insert out of the clear plastic base until I ran some soapy water through everything and it came out easily. Isn't the water in the fill region not draining to the bottom vessel? I am not affected by this. This only took a few As I noticed, the fill area could only hold enough water to fill the bottom half of the In the end, I filled the top a second time and all the water filled the bottom without any problems. Added to that, this pitcher houses less water in the refrigerator and looks nice enough for a tabletop.

You may wish to check Now that I've had the filter for exactly one week, I'm very happy with it
3/5

There is no taste to the water unless the tap water has been run through it multiple times. I didn't find that to be a big deal. I just poured a little water into a cup to make tea, looked in it, and noticed there were black flecks in it. They looked like small grains of dirt. Considering they were predominantly on the bottom of the cup (even though I had just rinsed and wiped it before pouring the water in), I thought they might be coming from the cup. In order to remove those remnants from my cup, I ran the same water through the filter again, and while it filtered, I wiped my cup with my fingertip. My eyes were opened to see the black specs again after I poured it again. However, I still saw specs even after filtering it a third time. Still a bit unnerving, but not as much as the first time. As a result, I had to compare the filtered and unfiltered water, to see if it was the unfiltered water As a result, I poured a cup of straight tap water, which was actually very clear. There is a possibility that the metals clump together during the filtration process, and THAT'S what I see as specks. Whatever it is, I think it's reasonable to expect it not get through, and that your water will be free of unwanted substances, especially after multiple filtration processes. I particularly appreciate the filter's effectiveness after only a week of use.

It is the ideal space-saving solution
4/5

A few years ago, my old Brita cracked after three years. Now I have a new one. Because it does not take up as much space in the refrigerator as most standard-sized models, it is great for long term storage. You can get by with this unit for one or two people, but you would need to upgrade if you have a family. Then there's the fact that it's a real Despite its size, it arrived in a box branded with Brita and was properly packaged. Pictures can be found here.

The pitcher receives four stars and the gimic gets two
3/5

The Brita Large 10 Cup Water Filter Pitcher is a great product in our opinion. We both use the Brita coffee maker for coffee makers, but the wife uses it a lot more often. Despite its size, my coffee maker is only just large enough for the two of us. If you filter suspended particles, I am only concerned about it because I don't want them in my coffee. I must say that, to the best of my knowledge, the pitcher does what it is supposed to do, and that we do not see any signs of suspended solids infiltrating our coffee maker. Among the features that we find difficult to work with, the locking lid is one of them. The water reservoir keeps spills from happening, especially when we add water to the coffee maker while the reservoir is full. There is no doubt that the filter is filtering at least some of the suspended solids because when we changed the filter it was over double in weight and we could see some of the suspended solids had backed up inside. Having said that, I have found one feature I do not trust, and have not found trustworthy to be A light at the top. We do not know the exact mechanism it uses to detect the status of the filters. Based on what I know and what I believe, I think it's a simple counter that counts down by pressing the On button a certain quantity of times. Unless otherwise stated, I suspect it was designed to promote the sale of replacement filters more than to keep track of the condition of filters. The time for changing the filter depends on when we notice that it is taking more time to filter water and check the status of the We opted for our way as it takes no electronics and provides the results we were looking for. The indicator light has never been anything other than green in my experience. In terms of disassembly, it is hard. If you are picky about being able to clean everything in a specific way, our experience has been negative. We can clean it enough to meet our needs. Our overall impression of the Brita Large 10 Cup Water Filter Pitcher is positive. The only thing left to say would be this Most of the features work as expected, making it a worthy four-star product. It appears to be electronic, but I am suspicious of it We do not believe that they are required and are unable to verify its accuracy.

A good pitcher, but it would benefit from a better way of refilling it
4/5

I have been a Brita user for years but switched to the 5 cup pitcher to see whether it fit our needs. This is the case, it seems! Only when we have guests does it seem a little heavy as with the 10 cup one. The only exception is when you have a lot of The filtering won't be completed before you can serve many people, so you'll need to refill and wait for the filtering to be done. A flap kind of opening would be more convenient than having to remove the top every time the bottle needs to be filled.

Refrigerators can be used in offices of all sizes
5/5

My work refrigerator is used to keep these things - I bought them for that purpose. With the perfect size for a workday's worth of water and a slim design, it takes up little room, so you can pack lunch around it. My Brita water filter removes any harmful elements before I drink the fountain water, so I am comfortable knowing that the water is not reliable. This gives me some peace of mind because I can taste the difference. I love the turquoise color of this Do not use too much green or blue, and do not make it too Color is nice just the way it is. It's true that some people like their colors to be specific. In addition, lifting the full pitcher is comfortable thanks to the handle. It's effortless to refill thanks to the easy removal / reattachment of the lid The filter is easy to replace and requires only a few minutes The process is painless as well. This is one of the things I have recommended There is no reason not to buy this for the price.
