The information in this article is false, at least for This is the black dispenser I just received. It's just as tall, not shorter, as the grey dispenser. Thus, it's between 10 and 11. The height is 5 inches.
Thanks for visiting! It was nice of you to contact me. You can use the Brita UltraMax with both Brita Standard and Brita Longlast filters. It is important that you align the longest indentation on the side of the filter with the groove in the hole of the reservoir when inserting it. Press firmly to ensure a snug fit, and then you'll be good to go. It is our hope that this was helpful. A member of the Brita team, Mel
As I was not able to disassemble mine, I couldn't clean it. My filter was full of hot soapy water after I took it out. It has been rinsed. Rinsed it several times with bleach water and then filled it again with the solution. The design left me somewhat disappointed.

I think this is fantastic! Don't pay attention to previous reviews that claimed the filter was slow or of poor quality. The original long-lasting filters made by Brita in 2017 are problematic, as their representatives acknowledged when I spoke to them directly. As a result, I was required to examine the product code on the filter I received and if it had the year 18 (2018), it was from the new My previous model of storage unit has been significantly improved since I owned it. The filter is excellent, and I like the new design of storage unit much better than the previous model.
My purchase of this was made in June The idea of it not being a pitcher appeals to me. I followed every direction included in the instructions, but it took a while before the chemical taste disappeared. I can handle it, I'm used to it. I am not able to cope with the fact that, in the last three weeks, the spigot began to leak. Following instructions despite being a bit confused. Trying to fix the spigot involved disassembling and adjusting it. We had a complete failure with the product. Our attempt after attempt has failed to stop the leak. The money I spent is gone now that I've passed the return window. We tried the cheaper Brita pitcher and it didn't work for us, so I decided to spend a little more to get a better pitcher. is to use a brand I'm more comfortable with. We didn't get much use out of it and I'm going to look for another one. My replacement filters arrived and I bought them, so it's a very big disappointment.
In this review, I talk about the "Jet Black" version, for which I have no complaints at all. The water tastes completely pure, and it is easy to clean, but you should ensure that the filter is properly inserted. Activate the filter When inserting the filter, turn the dispenser upside down so you can make sure the filter lines up perfectly. My first time I inserted the filter incorrectly, but when I saw that the water was flowing too fast into the dispenser, I realized my mistake. * B+ *A+.
It is not possible to use the Brita LongLast filters. comparing the TDS reading of regular tap water to that of LongLast filtered water, there was no difference between the two If you must, keep away from this brand and spend your money on a different brand. I will, for sure.
I edited it The tool is still being used today, after two years. It works fine and the spigot does not have any problems. The YouTube tip still helped us separate the pieces, and we are thankful for that. We still have to move the unit past the edge of the counter or shelf of the fridge because of its design. In the past Using too much pressure was also a concern because the plastic seems brittle and I was unable to separate the black top from the clear bin. As we tried to figure out how to put this back together, we left it on the counter for a few days. The instruction booklet is completely useless, I think. My search for a YouTube video that explains how to put soapy water into the clear bin, then turn it upside down (in the sink), has proven fruitless. Allow the soapy water to run between the two plastic layers Using it, you will be able to separate each piece so you can wash it properly. Immediately, I noticed that the handle of the spigot feels very flimsy, and I think this will be the first You'll have to drag the dispenser about two inches past the edge of your counter or refrigerator shelf, due to the spigot being set in quite deep. In general, we like its large size, and how easy it is to replace the filters, and how quickly it filters the water.
Water will bypass the filter otherwise as the gaps will permit the water to flow through them. In order for the filter to function properly, it must be snugly fitted and should only allow water to flow slowly through it.
There is ONE thing that gives the stars their strength There is no way for me to clean the reservoir since I can't get the black water well out. You'll simply not be able to extract it. As a result. Where can I find the cleaning instructions for As is my experience with Brita products in the past, I expect the filter itself to work great. I am able to fit it in my fridge just fine, but I must pull it out every time I want water because the spigots are I don't see why that would be such a problem. The problem of not being able to clean the reservoir is quite serious. I want someone to tell me the answer, and I will update the rating and review.
Having bought this jug because my old one was leaking around the edge of the filter, after a couple months I have found that this one is leaking as well. As a result, I can fill up the top and watch water cascade around the filter, rendering this whole set up very ineffective. It seems as though if I dry and top the filter, then cram the filter down really hard, I can get about 30% of the water through. The filters provided by Brita have a major design flaw, which negates any value their filters may offer.
