You won't spill a drop from this pitcher! This filter has a very fast filtration rate, and it makes great tasting water. Its capacity is the same as my coffee maker (12 cups Mr. Coffee), and if I need more filtered water after I put it in the coffee maker, it's ready in minutes. The fact that this container does not contain as much water as the other two also means that it is not so heavy to use. It is definitely worth checking out. In my lifetime, I have used several kinds of filters. I've had the direct faucet connection, and the large container that sits in my refrigerator. It is impossible to compare this pitcher with any of them. This is a fairly quick process and the water tastes pretty much like water should, meaning very little. It manages to run through 110oz of water in a matter of seconds, since I have to fill three Nalgenes in the morning for myself and my boyfriend. I need to refill it, turn it on, and then wait a short time before refilling it. Since I own another brand of filters, I bought a bunch of refills because I honestly don't think I can use any other. The unit can be disassembled very easily, so it can be thoroughly cleaned. I also like how easy it is to put in the filter. The handle is fancy, the water tastes great, and it's fast. However, there is one downside
Although the timer on top that indicates when the filter needs to be changed has broken on mine, I still love it so much that I just mark it on my calendar when I need to buy a new one.

Here are the Unlike metal water filters, this device filters my city water so that it tastes like bottled water, and it does so quickly and efficiently without moving parts. Water is contained within the unit and pouring is a breeze, and the design of the handle is intriguing. I find it easy to filter and do not mind doing it twice, but there is something to be desired in the plastic. Glass would have been better, but would have cost more. Overall it was worth the cost of the unit In contrast to a filter attached to a faucet (in which I purchased a $30 filter with a leaky gasket right out of the box), this filter is less susceptible to breakdowns. A friend of mine would recommend it to me.
