Questions & Answers

Is the end of the turner/spatula tapered so it can easily slide under an omelet, egg, pancake, or other food item? Thanks! ?

Because the end of the spatula is so rounded, it won't slide under eggs, pancakes, or anything else in the pan. It works well for pushing food from one side of the pan to the other. It's also quite short and thin, with a narrow end - The working end is so narrow that even if it worked, you wouldn't be able to turn much with it.

Do the handle and bowl of the soup ladle feel shaky when you're using it? Thanks?

No, none of the pieces have ever felt flimsy or wobbly in my opinion! I understand what you're saying because I recently purchased a new set of spoons that are extremely flimsy. With the set I bought from another company, you'd be able to stir soup quite well. I believe these utensils will meet your expectations! I hope this information is useful!

Where do these come from?

They were made in China for a company in Australia.

Is this free of BPA?

Summer, how are you? Yes, they're free of BPA. I hope you find this information useful. Greetings, Matt - Team of Stars

The handle should be longer
3/5

So far, so good in terms of quality, but the spatula could use a longer handle. I've used it twice and burned my finger both times, but it's about an inch to inch and a half shorter than my other patulas. My finger grazes the edge of the pan when I flip it. My spatula isn't even halfway into the pan in this photo, so if I push it any further (i. e. , flipping the food), my fingers will be burned. Too bad. This set appeals to me. Perhaps I should get a new silicone set with longer handles.

These are now my go-to recipes when I'm cooking
4/5

Although the flat spatula isn't my favorite, these have quickly become my all-time favorite kitchen tools! I had originally received the XL set, which was too big to store in a jar under my kitchen cabinets. As a result, I returned them and went out and bought the Basics set. I've bent a lot of spoons/spatulas over the years due to leaving them in the pan for too long. During use, none of these have "melted" in any way! They are usually easy to clean and can be put in the dishwasher! In the last 8 months of regular use, the silicone hasn't chipped or failed in any way. The "spoonula" is an excellent tool for mixing and matching. The last half inch or so is quite flexible, but the rest of the piece is quite solid. It's ideal for any meal with gravy or sauce in which stirring the food AND scraping the pan's sides is a constant struggle. br>br>The only two issues I've had with the set are that the flat spatula bends when you try to "scrape" something or apply pressure to it. It will pick up a burger or a piece of fish without bending, but it will bend under actual pressure. 2 Due to the silicone, the flat spatula is rather thick. It's difficult to get something that thick under the eggs without folding the flimsy egg under itself when making over easy eggs. But those are my gripes. br>br>On a side note, I also have the Starpack rubber spatulas that go with this set and I adore them! Anyone looking for a great utensil with some decorative flair should consider this set.

Great utensils that are easy to clean and work well
5/5

When I bought a fairly expensive Teflon-coated wok, I needed to replace my stainless steel cooking utensils. After searching Amazon for a variety of silicone and wooden kitchen utensils, I came across these StarPack Premium Silicone Kitchen Utensils. I chose the "premium" models over StarPack's "regular" line because I needed silicone utensils that could withstand temperatures of up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit in the kitchen. The look and feel of these utensils appealed to me right away, and they are easy to clean. When held under the faucet for cleaning, food literally falls off the utensils, and while they are dishwasher safe, they are so simple to clean that I rarely use them. Furthermore, the slightly rubbery finish is flexible but stiff enough to cut lasagna slabs and lift them out of the baking pan neatly. I was so impressed with the StarPack Premium Utensils that I ordered a large spoon and a spaghetti spoon right away. without causing damage to the baking pan's Teflon lining After three months of use, the dark grey color on all of the utensils, including the few that I washed in the dishwasher, has remained consistent. I strongly advise you to purchase them.

Metal is soft, but silicone is nice because it's heat resistant and doesn't get silicone bits in our food (our old plastic ones were leaving bits of plastic behind when they melted, which is why we switched)
5/5

However, don't think you can just leave the spatula on the hot pan, go do something else (like fill a pot of water), and then return to rough scrape the pan with the spatula, because the heat softens whatever metal is inside the utensil, and you can easily deform the utensil when the metal is hot. I wish the metal was more rigid because I'm not sure if it can break within the silicone due to excessive bending and then destroy the silicone, but time will tell. The silicone does a better job of protecting my nonstick pans than the old plastic crap we had, and I like how it makes scraping sauce off the sides of pots and pans a breeze.

Stainless steel and nonstick utensils are the best
5/5

This is a review of the StarPack Premium Silicone Kitchen Utensil Set (5 Piece) in Hygienic Solid Coating by StarPack. Bonus 101 Cooking Tips (Cherry Red)br>br>I enjoy high-end items and am willing to pay a premium for them. I am a firm believer in paying for what you get. Because we now have stainless steel pots and pans, I bought these utensils to replace my wife's old ones. These utensils are of excellent quality and well worth the money. br>br>First and foremost, the packaging was attractive. Their marketing team has a knack for making packaging stand out! Finally, the utensils themselves are incredibly tasty. I purchased these after reading positive reviews, but I had never used silicone utensils before. We were addicted to the utensils in less than five minutes of using them. Since then, we've purchased more silicone utensils from a local kitchen supply store, which had a wider selection. My wife is a tough critic when it comes to her kitchen appliances, so these are built to last. I think we'll be able to use them for a long time because they show no signs of wear. I'd suggest StarPack Premium Silicone Kitchen Utensil Set (5 Piece) in Hygienic Solid Coating - Anyone looking for great high quality kitchen utensils at an excellent price will appreciate the bonus 101 Cooking Tips (Cherry Red)!! br>br>The item arrived quickly and without any problems with shipping. br>br>I would appreciate it if you could take a moment to mark my review as helpful if it was helpful in making your decision. Thank you for reading my review and taking the time to do so.
