They didn't get a single use. I was expecting these to arrive soon, but I'm already disappointed. They were delivered yesterday, and after just one wash with soap and water, the whisk's handle is loose and about to fall off, and the writing on the tools has faded! I'm not sure if these are genuine Rae Dunn photos. They were significantly more expensive than the other Amazon options, which was very disappointing.
I had hoped for a little more from Rae Dunn, but the majority of the handles are different colors, and the plastic isn't completely attached to the wooden handle. br>br>At this price, I would not recommend this quality; you could easily find something better.
Utensils you'd find in a kitchen. Except for the tongs, everything is oversized in comparison to other brands. I'm not sure how long the wood handles will last. White was purchased. I wish I'd gone with black because one dip in sauce was all I needed. I'm aware that they'll stain, but I didn't purchase them for the sake of appearances.
I bought these utensils for decoration only, so I can't comment on how well they work. I noticed what a lot of other people said about the rubber not being fully attached to the wood, so I requested a replacement and they were fine; there is slight color variation in the wood (which is to be expected. . . it's wood), but not enough to make it look like they aren't all from the same set.
These are a shambles of a product. Within a month, every utensil had broken. The silicone heads were repaired and reattached to the wooden sticks using wood glue. Two more have shattered. These kitchen utensils are of poor quality and are not worth the money. They are not something I would recommend.
One of the spoons has already broken off, and I'll have to reattach it with glue. I also wish they were a little more "stiff," because when I try to break up meat, etc. , it bends.
To begin with, I was ecstatic when they arrived! They're adorable, and they're also very easy to clean. However, the whisk was only used twice. They all started losing their heads after that! The final straw, it appears, is removing the item from the crock or dishwasher. The size of the slot in the handle and the insert are vastly different; maybe for decoration, but I wouldn't buy it again.
There are no sealants on the wood. Multiple splinters have appeared on my body. I wish I had never purchased these items. They're also not dishwasher safe, despite the fact that they claim to be.
